No way guys. I disagree. Mike Patrick was very neutral, but KP was praising Gray the whole game. I felt like I was watching Gary Danielson call an LSU Bama game.

And let's remember, this isn't football. These guys don't have any type of agenda. And they know that LSU baseball is something to be respected. Much like South Carolina, Oregons State, etc. should be respected.

Big proponent of LSU, for a college baseball commentator LSU is #1 on where you want to call a game.
Huge crowd which makes it enjoyable, a lot to talk about which helps commentators, and as somebody mentioned there was a unique feel to this game like a major Triple-A game, and last but certainly not least the commentators have to do their pregame tailgating research.

So praising an elite player, who by the way pitched a hell of a game, means he hates LSU?

KP has tons of respect for LSU. Just because he doesn't pump sunshine up your arse 24/7 doesn't mean he hates LSU. I'm pretty sure he's over '97

This. C'mon man. Jonathan Gray wouldn't have gotten drafted #3 overall if he wasn't legit. Now, Nola is really kind of a fricking bad arse. However, considering Nola was not facing the LSU lineup, Gray did a hell of a job.
