Orthodox Monk Fark Request
Posted by Mobtheman on 5/10/16 at 4:51 pm
If anyone would be able to fark my friend into Orthodox monk's robes, that would be amazing. He recently described a trip to a monastery as his own personal hell. So I figure I might as well make his hell even more personal for him.
Thanks for whatever can be done!

Really has been a good game so far. Cal's made a lot of mistakes close to the endzone, though.

Woah, those are some scary good measurables for someone his size.

The 6'3'' 338lbs listed on 247 is correct because those were his measurements that were taken by the 247 staff when he arrived for check-in for the Army All-American Game.
re: Cubs 2013 First Round Pick, 3B Kris Bryant, is pretty good at baseball

I never read anything about his defense (probably because chicks dig the long ball). Wondering if anyone has anything credible about if he's going to be able to stick at 3rd.
He doesn't have quick-twitch reflexes (although he is a decently fast baserunner), so he isn't the most deft thirdbaseman out there, but at 6' 5'' his range is great and his arm is really, really strong with an effortless motion.
ETA: Could be a Troy Glaus type of 3B/1B guy if the Cubs get a 3B who is an exceptional fielder.

Bryant is the real deal, for sure. After watching a few USD games this year, I completely understood why this guy is projected to be so great. His plate coverage, easy swing, and eye for balls and strikes are second to none. The Cubs got a good one, and his potential is still incredibly high.
Outstanding work! Just a bit of small info: University School in Florida also has DB Quincy Wilson (committed to Florida), LB Richard Yeargin III (committed to Notre Dame), and QB Sean White (committed to Auburn). Doesn't really matter, but they are high profile recruits and make that game even more worth watching. Again, amazing work!

Rival's explanation of Speedy's ranking:
The logic/explanations are crazy underwhelming.

While many assumed Noil would easily be a five-star after his off-the-charts testing at The Opening, we are being cautious because he's new to the wide receiver position.

I don't know how they justify Hand at #1. He's a top ten player, but not #1 in this class.
Agreed. Rival's top ten really is pretty awful. LF's being at #6 because "he struggled catching the ball" at rival's camp in Chicago is one of the most laughable things I've seen in a while.

FYI: Memphis has been banned...... again. Just passing along the info.
For real? What happened?

I thought he was at 11 on scout?
He was at one point, but he got moved up to 4th after their update around a month ago.

Yeah, I just don't see LSU having much of a chance with him. He's named Notre Dame his leader followed closely by Florida and then Stanford, and he's already scheduled return trips to both ND and UF. LSU was his #2 team after he visited, but that changed quickly after the Stanford and Florida offers, so I don't see his being a notable prospect for LSU as being realistic at this point.

Nice catch. I really thought for sure he wasn't on the list. And I looked really hard because I was hoping he was on it
