I heard Peterson on SiriusXM this morning and he was basically nonstop heaping praise on LSU.

There's no denying that ESPN had been knob gobbling the UCLA SS and Arkansas' SS too, and he made a critical error last night and the UCLA guy didn't hit for s#*t against us, nor do I think he did much in Omaha at all.

That's because he's had his heart ripped out by the LSU Tigers before. Probably bubbled up some repressed memories and emotions.

Oh well. He makes enought to pay for another call to his shrink.

Here's a glimpse of Peterson's psyche during the bottom of the 9th knowing he can't do anything to save the Hogs from their fate.

Lolololol neaux moron it was just an observation. I don’t expect fans from ESPN period nor want them. Lighten up Frances.

Anyone not in purple and gold felt for those Arkansas players. I get it was an amazing win from the LSU perspective, but it wasn't like LSU hit a massive 450 foot walk off bomb and the announcers were sad.

Your thread title was about Kyle Peterson looking shocked. He just watched a team absolutely implode in a manner Im not sure any of us have ever seen before. I'm sure he did feel for those players.

He seemed like in shock of what he just witnessed. Just like any neutral baseball fan he witnessed a great college game. If I didn’t have any rooting interest in the game I would have acted just like KP. Gutted for Arkansas and in disbelief that LSU just pulled that off.

As an LSU fan, I felt very bad for the Arkansas players that made bad plays that contributied to out victory. I'll certainly take a victory however we can get it, just prefer to win it, not the other team lose it.

Also, the network wanted a Thursday game. It would have been slanted in LSU favor had they been the team with 1 loss. Another LSU - AR matchup would have been huge for everyone involved in the CWS so they wanted that extra game very badly.

So they didn't want to pump up viewership last night?

And I bet you were one of the people who gave up when it was 1-0 last night.

I see it the other way, if I force you to make those plays and you make them, you deserve to win it, if you don't, that's on you, it's a nine inning game

KP IS College baseball . Some of yall are insufferable. He constantly raves about LSU and its legacy and fan support.

It's crazy how insecure a lot of our fans are.

Btw, KP can have no dog in the hunt, and also empathize with the hogs on their particularly painful end to the season. Those aren't mutually exclusive.

Several on this board were pissed b/c ESPN didn't let Big Ben annouce our games. Some were crying for Rollins. ? Ben is great, but his name hangs at the Box. He isn't exactly an unbiased commentator. He does as good as he can to be neutral, but the non-LSU fans aren't interested in his stories from his time with Skip like we are

I find him to be extremely complimentary of the teams LSU plays, so much so that he tries too hard to be unbiased. Pisses me off sometimes lol

KP is fine. Ravech is the one that needs to be nowhere near the CWS booth.

Nobody’s bitching. I made a here reference to his facial expression following the win over Arkansas. He looked disappointed. If you didn’t recognize that you’re blind. Is it a big deal? No, it’s merely an observation and I shared it on this thing called “Tiger Rant.” Maybe it’s not the place for bitches like you who bitch cuz you’re mad someone else bitched. See how that works? Probably not.

Umm, I kind of wanted to cry for those guys. That was gut wrenching way to lose. I am elated the Tigers won, but I put myself in a place as one of those guys parents and man that was hard to watch and not feel bad for those guys. Geaux Tigers!!!!

Lol do what?? I’m in the least bit upset Kyle seemed upset. Lmao I’m just commenting on my observation of his disappointment. This is the “rant” a place to bitch,,complain or just simply comment about all things LSU. If that bothers you, why are you here? Post less.

I wasn't trying to bash you , I just wanted to point out that KP seems very impartial. He is Chill/Calm as frick. I could actually fall asleep listening to him call a game, he is super chill (just naturally has a really red/sunburned looking face), so maybe made him look upset. Funny story, Kirk Herbstriet (one of the most impartial dudes ever), had to move the frick away from Columbus Ohio, all the way to Nashville, because of his objectivity, the Ohio State fans harassed him INCESSANTLY , accused him of pulling against his Alma Mater (Ohio State). So every fan base does this/has these people. Granted, some worse than others.
