But here's a fun, true story:
There was a guy who used to work in a school's sports information department who left and started his own fan website. Lots of people signed up for free and began leaving comments about the football team. Nasty comments.
The SID asked his buddy who these anonymous complainers were. So the forum moderator buddy supplied him with not only the forum members usernames and real names, but also their home addresses.
So after the season the SID sent them all official athletic department Christmas cards -- addressed to their forum usernames.
Freaked them all out. The board messages for those few days were priceless.
True story. It wasn't an SEC school. Let's just say it was one in Texas.
