Negative, I explored all angles to explain his fandom. It's all for show I'm convinced.

Yes. And strangely enough, they've recently become Ole Miss "superfans."

Well as I always say "there is always room for 1 more tiger fan. And trying to fit in sounds like he is off to a good start.

...I understand everybody can't afford to get season tickets and go to every game, but it's not hard to find cheap tickets to one of the non conference games. Heck you can get them sometimes at a good price for the SEC games. Never understand somebody who is "big LSU" fan, but NEVER goes to any games.
You can get cheap tickets outside the stadium to ANY game. Just have to know the routine and how to navigate the "Process."

More and more people are giving up their season tickets and doing this because they feel the overall hassle of the LSU "Game Day Experience" is outweighing the fun/pleasure of it all.

Here are the reasons from people I personally know or who I've talked to that either have already given up their season tickets or are seriously considering doing so in the near future.

* Ridiculously bad out of conference schedule.
* Increasing trouble in travelling to, finding parking and then getting out after the game.
* Rapidly decreasing atmosphere in the stadium except for the really big SEC Night games.
* Too many games moved to afternoon.
* Wide spread dis-satisfaction with the Head Coach, the lack of Championships, consistent 2-3 loses every season and the yearly embarrassing game management diasters on national television.(The hiring of Cam Cameron [And Jeff Grimes more recently] is taking the pressure off LM a little.)
* The 2011 season (Yanking Jarrett Lee after the 8-0 start) and the corresponding JJ fueled NC Debacle/Abomination was the straw that broke the camels back for many.

BTW, giving up their season tickets doesn't mean they won't be attending any games, just that the current LSU Bang is not worth the LSU Buck any longer as far as Season Tickets/TAF fees geaux.

During football season on here told that since chose not to go to LSU I can't be as big of fan because I don't have that connection. But having basketball season tickets for 7 years the same die hard bleed purple and gold don't dare think you are same level fan as them don't care at all about their basketball team. I guess you had to go to LSU and LSU have a winning team to have that connection

i wouldnt sweat that. LSU is a fine school and all, but its not hard to get into and there isnt anything prestigious about it. i understand UT Austin snobbery to some extent and certainly stanford, berkley type snobbery. LSU has no dog in the snobbery fight. if someone is being a snob cause they went to LSU, then they must have majored in social work.

actually, only vandy and to some extent florida, have any snobby legs to stand on among sec schools.

You are an idiot, troll, or both.

LSU leads the SEC and all BCS teams in wins for the last nine years. That's something that has never happened before in the history of LSU football. LSU has as many west titles and SEC titles as any SEC team in the last nine years.

Any expressing spread dis-satisfaction with that type of success is a fricking moron!

havent been to game since the 2011 season for that reason. i could understand if jj was at least a 2 star caliber passer, but that kid is f'in awful. jl isnt great, but he proved to be an efficient game manager. i understand bringing in jj during the bama game, but to bench lee the rest of the year was stupid as hell. guy ended up leading the sec in qb rating, while jjs yards per pass werent even better than our rbs yards per rush. if we ever have a joke like jj again at qb for an extended period, ima root for the gdamned horns until its fixed. i cant handle that level of bad from a qb anymore. if ya gonna have a guy in cause he can run, well, it would help if the sob could actually run worth a shite. jj has some straight line speed, but cant run the ball at all. shoulda just ran the feckin read option with shep.

im start callin jj "case mccoy with a little straight line speed".

So you're saying he doesn't come here and bash the team? That's where I thought you were going with this...

The recliners, I could give him a pass on. But the LSU felt pool table. That should be an admission that, after family, job and health, LSU football is the biggest thing in your life.

Does the guy show any other signs of being, you know... How should I say this? ... Bat shite crazy?

Most hardcore LSU fans now are unable to attend the games due to money or distance. My problem with a lot of LSU fans that go to the games leave in the 3rd. quarter. All those years I had season tickets & attended Lsu we stayed till the bitter end, win or lose!

I have season tickets, but couldn't afford to devote an entire room of my house to nothing but LSU regalia.

He stirred the pot, clown. I just pointed out his moron like thinking ability. It's interesting that you call me out and not the real pot stirrer. Your thinking ability is suspect too, dumbass.
