Point blank, OBJ is an attention whore. Successful in his own right albeit on a crappy team he made it a point to make himself the center of attention (and negative attention for LSU) when all focus should have been on the team that just completed the best season ever in the history of the sport.
OBJ didn’t make that happen.
I have no problem with former players interacting but to perfectly Frank, no one but fantasy football players cares about the Browns

This is a total BS move by Herbie and any of you defending his comments honestly piss me off. We can’t control what OBJ did. Burrow is 23, graduated and just made history. He is right when he says he can take that money. The NCAA isnt going to do jack shite. Do you still see Will Wade on that sideline? Yep you do. This will blow over like anything and I have no problem with Joe saying yeah...FU NCAA, I can take that $ now. O is about to get a million dollar bonus and these players....squat. Good for Joe...time for you to go make those millions

University programs are going to have to evaluate who they let on the sidelines. Theread is probably another way to include former players back into the program. Beckham fricked things up for his own selfishness. He shouldn't be allowed down there again after that stunt. Joe''s dad needs to sit his son down and remind the kid about winning with class particularly with the program that gave him a second chance. Then there's a part of me that considers that we were listening to a kid in his early 20''s who had a lot of success in such a short period of time. LSU players do need to learn to be more classy with their behavior in the future.

With Two sons on the Clemson football team, Herbie should STFU about the Clemson/LSU game.
AND
ESPN should have found another announcer for the telecast. Extremely unprofessional of Herbstreit and ESPN to have a player's daddy (times 2) calling the game.

OBJ’s antics are a poor reflection of himself, not LSU. As far as his comments about LSU’s celebration/cigars and them not being back next year...a quick google search shows pics of Bama and Clemson lightning up cigars after their natty wins. LSU isn’t the first team to do this. I usually like Herbstreit, but the guy needs to get off his high horse and let the kids celebrate the greatest season ever. They did it in the locker room among themselves, not gloating in front of Clemson.

F that. This team was class ALL season! 20 weeks of non stop preparation to be the best ever. They deserve to cut loose and Joe too. It sure is easy for us to sit up here on our soap boxes....this team just gave us the ride of our lives. Appreciate that. OBJ is the one needs to act with more class. Who knew such a thing would happen? OJB swooped in from out of nowhere with this ridiculous attention grabbing stunt. That is the sin of commission.That part is on him. Too bad the players didn’t exercise wiser judgment and either say no to the bundle and walk away, or else immediately turn the stuff in to a responsible person on the coaching staff. That is the sin of omission. That part is on them.
