Kirby knows his sh** man. I'll take him any day of the week. I know this would never happen.

He's 58-14 at UGA in 6 years. New Years 6 the last 4 years...yea he's pretty bad.

The real hero here is Glenn Schumann, the man we should’ve hired as DC and 80% of the content in that video.

And only one conference title to show for it.

1980.

Goes to show how lucky we are to have had 2019 despite the current nosedive.

Schumann was smart for expressing zero mutual interest in LSU DC job. He saw the writing on the wall.

Bet he won’t hesitate this time around when we hire a new coach. Wanted him last year, want him this year. I think SW’s big swing is Riley so there’s no connection there but if we “settle” for Napier, they’ve worked together at Bama and I think would be one of his top choices for DC. Regardless of our HC hire, I hope he’s at the top of all their lists.

Kirby is telling everyone how a 3 down line is far superior to 4 down lineman to stopping today’s offenses and coach O is hell bent on running a 4 man front. Exactly why LSU has fielded 2 of its worse defenses in the last 20 years in back to back seasons after Dave Aranda left. Get this idiot out of Baton Rouge ASAP.

You wouldn’t have the balls to post this if they were on our schedule this year, or last year. You know exactly how that game would turn out in both years.

He runs a 3-4, so he wasn't even considered by our mongoloid HC.

Like 2018 when they were throttled in TS? UGA is babyshit soft and will diarrhea down their leg at some point this season like they've done the last 4 decades.

He has Georgia rolling. I’d love to be a consistent player in the playoff hunt like Georgia. Kirbys doing a great job. His defense is nasty this year

FTR, Chief ran a 4-man front and Aranda did his first year with us in '16. It worked. Chief's thing was speed (and more speed). I think Dave just schemed well.

Obviously, they had talent but every system has to have meet some minimum talent threshold to work.

When was the last time UGA got their crap pushed in by Kentucky and lost to them by over 20?

This ain’t 2016 and it dang sure ain’t 2011. Aranda ran a 3-4 from the jump at LSU. No 3-4 is a 100% 3 down. They’ll run some 4 man fronts especially in nickel. Kirby smart, Nick Saban, Dave Aranda, Luke Ficknell are all running odd fronts and mixing in some even. Ed O is wanting strictly a 4 man front outside of the ms state game where that’s all you can run. You think Marcus Freeman didn’t come here because of location? No, because Ed O is an idiot and should never grace the LSU sidelines again. Stevie Wonder can see it.

Shows how dumb it is to play a 4-3 base against spread offenses in college.

They basically know what you are going to do every play.

Another thing theu do well is simulated pressures. Same thing aranda would do.

That's a big problem with the 4-2 lsu is running. It's so basic

Actually he was. He didn't show any interest in the job so they moved on.

That's the funny thing. O swears he wants to run a 4 man front but talked to and interviewed many 3 man front proponents.
