Kirby had Georgia in the NCG his 2nd year

And did not win it. And Kirby was handed a very good program that was loaded with talent.

Brian Kelly inherited a situation unlike any I can recall with a major power 5 school in the last 20 years.

Auburn and Florida fans would beg to differ

And then a few years later after the first of back to back nattys beat the fricking piss out of LSU 50-30, and we put in backups. Too bad your team sucks and can’t beat Alabama. We’ll do it for ya. No worries. Rest easy.

That is nowhere close to being true, but I don't have a problem with him in general.

The roster he took over was well below LSU standards.

I'll give him (Kelly) time, but if he cannot / does not recruit D-linemen, he will never win anything of significance.

This is his second full recruiting class coming up in 2024, and it is not looking great so far.

Thing is, and I have the utmost respect for Mark Richt, the offensive line recruiting was terrible. That was probably his downfall. I’ll never say a bad word about that man though.

You sound like a prog “true road games.” UGA has played two road games the last 2playoffs each time totaling 4 in total and one then all making them back to back champions. What was ND when we went there? Like 11 or 12? No one in the conference schedules more high profile games at neutral sites than UGA and Bama. It just sucks this year ours was OU and since they wanna join the sec it got kicked off. We can control the rankings of eastern SEC teams. Regardless I don’t think the OPs premise is very good, it’s pretty terrible, even still Kirby is undoubtedly a FAR superior coach than B Kelly. To suggest otherwise is pure 100% homerism.
