Brown is good but don’t see enough out of him to keep Pearson on the Bench.
Frey is the DH for now

I’d take Pearson over Brown every day

Exactly....
I hope Pearson gets to START at least One game in this Series @ RF!

Pearson always makes very solid contact

I also like his leadership more than Brown’s

Pearson is Mr Clutch
Brown just seems to lose concentration all the time

Pearson is hitting .200 is SEC play. He will have a role later in the season, as he always does.

Larson taking a step back screwed up RF too imo. That would have gave us a ton of flexibility

Brown is a leader. In fact go listen to interviews and podcast of current players. They all talk about Brown being a leader. He and Bear give most of the pregame speeches.

Pearson has 1 more K in 43 less at bats. The only thing he excels at is taking HBPs

Listen to any of the younger players on the team talk. They all love Brown and his leadership. I never hear any of them mention Pearson. They all talk about Brown. Brown has also outperformed Pearson across the board this year

This is a dumb statement that cant be backed up by facts or stats. You can only feel this way bc you like Pearson. Let’s not make decisions based on your emotions.

This board’s obsession with Pearson is hilarious. Bc of an above average catch in a big moment.

It would be cool if Brown was a little better defensively. You could platoon him and Stanfield in CF and then start Pearson regularly.

Exactly. Every player mentions Brown. None of them mention Pearson. I like Pearson but this thread was based on feels.

What has Pearson done to earn a regular starting spot?
