Kim shouldn’t have to keep answering this question!! Now if parents have concerns they should talk to Kim about those concerns so should recruits!

You're still lying about this?
Mulkey has already supported Griner publicly, liar.

She knew the law she decided to take that chance and now she is paying for it. If this was not a black womens basketball player no one would say crap but since you can make it political and fuss you do it!’

She's the new Catwoman replacing Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt.

If someone you cared about was in Russian prison you wouldn’t no comment a question.
It’s an easy position to take.
Virtue signal away. Recruiting is a 24/7 job.
Stop pretending this makes sense from a basketball standpoint.

Okay Mr. Diplomat. How do you suggest we get her back? Drop bombs on Russia or give them a genocidal arms dealer that will come back to killing potentially hundreds or thousands of Americans a few years from now? Certainly thousands of innocent civilians worldwide. Which do you suggest?

Can you imagine Saban giving a similar response? Hell no he understands diplomacy and understands everything he says effects recruiting. I’m afraid Mulkey is drunk on her success and too arrogant to care about what’s going on in society especially how it relates to the girls she’s recruiting and coaching. Just really a stupid response.

Just stop while you are behind. Saban would absolutely give a similar response if not one making the point that violating the law has consequences.

Britney threw Mulkey under the bus at Baylor. When she came out of closet, she said Mulkey told her not to admit it at Baylor. When in fact Mulkey was trying o protect her from being kicked out of Baylor. All athletes have to sign a Moral contract and if you break it you are expelled. So her not talking about her situation was the right thing to do.

Virtue signaling, and by that you actually mean grandstanding, is what everybody else wants her to do.
She's already made a public comment. She's not a politician. You just want to be able to put her on the pro-BG team or anti-BG team. That is all you care about.
Kim Mulkey is a women's basketball coach. She's not a partisan politics coach.

And none of the chucklefricks that raised hell about that then or now would have even cared about Griner. Sure, they would have done some stupid hashing thing and been really mad at Baylor for a couple weeks, but they would have forgotten about it and Britney Griner just would have been expelled.

The snowflakes on this site had reached an incredible level in the last 3 years on this site. So easily offended by everything.

Again, BG is her former player.
She should be pro-BG and it’s a bad look that she isn’t.
Nothing partisan about that.
No I care About LSU. Tell
Me how this is good for LSU WBB.

There is no proof that BG had illegal drugs. We have only the Russians telling us and they are not our friends. She admitted she had the drugs on advice of Russian counsel to expedite the efforts to obtain her release.
Kim could have avoided all of this fallout by simply saying she is hoping that BG gets to come home soon. End of story.

Shocker that someone who pretends to be a girl online would take this stance. Shut up dickhead

Why would she talk about an entitled ex player who went to jail for breaking the law?!
Posted on 9/27/22 at 12:41 pm to geauxgrrl
BG never even denied having the weed carts. I would assume she would say something along those lines if what you are peddling is true.

Agree 100%. And there are people on both the left and the right who are like this. In the end, she is a US citizen who is being imprisoned on bs charges and used as a political pawn by an authoritarian government. If they can do it to her, they can do it to all of us. I fail to see why so many don’t understand that.
Cannot do it to me. I have no desire to go to Russia and if I did I sure as hell would not possess contraband.
Her fault not ours.
I fail to see why you do not under stand THAT!!!!

It's good for LSU, because Mulkey has already spoken publicly in support of Griner. It's good for LSU because Mulkey is clear that her focus is on LSU and not some sideshow.

Well I've got good news for you: she already did that.
