You asked her to hide her sexuality and she did while under your program and when she finally tells what really happened you get mad and tells ESPN to fire the reporter that broke the story? I know this is a non-understanding fan base and as a parent of an African American recruit this would look really bad in my eyes. So, you all can keep thinking it will be ok and you're all going to be upset when recruits turn elsewhere. She needs to learn how to read the room and not just say what she truly thinks because it looks really bad.

I have conservative values. I actually believe in freedom and actually understand the constitution and realize there are other amendments besides the 2nd(and I own many guns). I actually believe in "Don't tread on me", unlike Republicans that have ruined the meaning for their own twisted beliefs. Funny how every time a cops kills someone under questionable circumstances, conservatives ALWAYS support the government? You know cops are the armed agents of the government you claim to hate? Hypocrits and ignorance

ETA: It seems like you think everyone should bend to what Britney Griner wants rather than her choosing freely to go somewhere and then having an issue following the rules of the place she freely chose to go. She could have gone somewhere other than Baylor. She could have played somewhere other than Russia. But she made those choices knowing the rules going in. When you do that, you forfeit the right to bitch about those rules.

Are you implying that, in general, police officers kill citizens at a whim, without reason, without cause and on a regular basis? Was there not due process for each of these incidents? Enforcement of the law is fundamental to living in a civilized and free society, given that the laws don’t infringe the individual rights of the citizens based on the constitution. So yes, why would you not support the government in enforcing the law?
I’m still waiting on the proof you have that BG is being held under false imprisonment.

Hopefully, the parents of other African American recruits are smart enough to read Coach Mulkey's prior comment on the issue.

You have it so backwards that it is hard to decide where to begin. Nobody is cheering Griner's imprisonment because they disagree with her politics. She broke the law of a foreign country. You may disagree with the law but that country has the right to make its own laws. She broke it and is now facing punishment for it. Plain and simple. It is not the people who understand the situation that are the greatest threat to freedom but people who do not understand that when you break the law - there is a price to pay. Without laws and the enforcement thereof, there can be no free society.
