Wade is not being investigated
so what do you call it when LSU and the NCAA want him to come discuss what happened? that sounds to me like they are investigating

I would hire her to coach the men. She might be the toughest basketball coach LSU has ever had. She was a hard as nails player when she played and has been a take no prisoners coach. She knows the game of basketball and I think would get instant respect from the men players.
Her toughness and competitiveness was on full display when she attended LSU baseball games. She gave Kramer zero slack. I think guys would love to play for her, she's as tough as they come.

Great, so we can have all the SJW snowflakes rooting for our team.

If the NCAAcracks down on WW and LSU it would be a perfect time to experiment. Maybe NCAA would take it easy on us for being socially aggressive.
Worst case she loses all the games while we are on probation. Maybe she pulls a rabbit out the hat and wins.

Not that i dislike Mulkey as a LSU coach. Hell we could use her as the women’s coach. Bur if they hire her to replace Wade as some SJW bullshite I am done with LSU athletics period. Baseball, football, basketball, track, gymnastics. Done

Agree. Very disrespectful to Benford.

IMHO, not the worst idea out there.
I want Wade back. No doubt.
However, if it turns bad, I think we are likely to need to purge the whole staff. That's disappointing because I like Benford and Heiar in their bench roles, but we likely won't be able to keep them.
A late hire ends up with scraping the bottom of the barrel. Mulkey, on the other hand, may be willing to make the jump even in late May, just for the opportunity to make news.
She would be strong on Xs & Os, with some interesting comparison to how the men's and woman's games are different. Also, a large number of players these days come from single-mother homes, so she might be able to get into those homes smoothly.
All that said, we have a coach, one I am certainly looking forward leading the Tigers for a long time to come.

I'd like to see her get the chance.
Has the champ ring as player and coach.
I'm sure she can coach.
Only question is whether she can recruit.

I believe those mommas want a “father” figure for their boys in those types of situations. Not another female.

Some do, some don't.
It may not be a huge advantage, but I think it's likely not a huge disadvantage.
I hope we keep Wade, so we never find out.
