You are insufferable, Eddie.

Go find some fellow morons to spew your nonsense to, it will make you feel smarter.

Well, if she cuts the 4 million per year loss in half she'd be well on her way.

That’s not going to happen. If the losses in WBB stabilize and we get back to playing elite basketball then Mulkey will have done great.

Remember, Skip Bertman hired Nick Saban. Also a no-brainer (though we didn't know the guy would go on to win this many titles)

Nick Saban in 2000 was not a no brainer hire especially for the amount of money (for the time) they paid him.

But he also hired Smoke Laval and Les Miles. Mainieri was at least successful for a while.

Les Miles and Paul Mainieri were great hires. Yes they eventually ran their course and it was/is time to move on but at one point in their time at LSU they won a national championship and played for another and were consider top 2 or 3 coaches in their sport. That is a great hire.

Great hires: Saban, Skip, Breaux, Brown, Henry, Broadhead, Gunter, and Emmert

Very good hires: Miles, PM, Torina, Arnsparger

Too early to tell Wade, O, Shavers

Bad: Smoke, Dinardo, Curley, Archer, JJ, Johnson, Fargas

Kim Mulkey's deal with #LSU is set to pay Mulkey $2.5 million in year one and will increase to north of $3 million by the end of the deal, which runs through 2028-2029, an LSU official tells @TheAthletic.

I bet she brings in at least 50% of her salary over that time in donations etc. When the PMAC is sold out every year, LSU players are making 5-6 figures in name and likeness revenues, she's bringing in Top 1-5 recruiting classes every year, hangs 4-5 final bour and at least 1 NCAA Championship banner: we'll say she was underpaid.

So, now they're going to "lose six million dollars"?

Yes if LSU lost 4 million dollars last season and had a coach who earned $700,000 and now has a new coach who is going to make $2,500,000 that is an automatic increase of almost 2 million dollars. If you add the 2 amounts together it will give you approximately $6,000,000 in the red. See, that’s how math works.

Sorry you got your little panties in a wad. Lol.

We also cut the season short and didn’t make the post season which is usually a decent chunk of change.

Will WBb ever be a huge profit generator?

No.

Will Mulkey at least earn her keep? Probably. And it would be nice for all of us to have a decent team to watch.
