I think people will complain moreso about Woodward.

I feel more confident with Woodward than Alleva. Alleva had LSU going nowhere fast

Some LSU insiders are hearing there is some truth to these rumors but it might not get announced officially till next week

We’re about to get a ton of positive exposure in a sport most of us would have never expected positive exposure to come from.

Awesome hire if true. Not only do you get a great WBB coach, but you flip the news cycle from negative to positive, at least for the moment. That’s a win.

I don't know much about WBB. Does she have some connection to LSU?

Alleva was way more right than wrong than what fans realized.

She would for sure be the final nail in the PMAC's coffin and she could win her first LSU title in the brand new arena.

I hate when you and I agree on things but you're 100% correct.

Negative.

Any of the 3 downvoters want to offer up a reason?

Alleva’s personality was his downfall. He didn’t have the charisma and charm to “sell” and rally the troops/fans behind him

Imagine if none of this happens and Nikki's WNBA job falls through and is back next year

Do you really think we'd keep Nikki if Kim wanted to be here?

Scott Woodward would laugh his arse off as he's firing Nikki.

I never said that, getting Kim to come here is the biggest challenge. We would fire Nikki in a heart beat if Kim wants in

And that would be hilarious.

- Gets Nikki to resign (Great)

Then the rest is all internet speculation. It's like getting mad at Woodward for not getting Belichick after someone on this website heard a rumor he was coming.

Cracks me up how easy you youngins forget how crunk Pokey used to get PMAC.

Cracks me up at how easy you cast someone off as a youngin bc they have a different take than you do. Im pushing 40. I was around for the final four runs. Had a friend on the team. Let me learn you something, gramps...

We have problems putting people in the stands for a really good men's basketball team. We have problems filling Tiger stadium for teams not named bama, uga, auburn, or Florida. We have problems getting a good atmosphere at the box even when we had a national seed level team.

Do you think its bc we don't have big name coaches or we're not paying our coaches enough? Or perhaps maybe because every single game is on TV now? Or maybe its just the youngins?

A little bit of both in my opinion.
