Leavitt really screwed us on that last drive before the pick 6. He could have run for the TD had he not cut back. Next play, he threw a very poor ball for a pick. This after a 19-play drive.

I’m glad he did this against Tech as opposed to 9/19.

Nah, I’m pretty sure they never talk

Figured it all out by yourself huh and think Lane doesn't know that he needs to be told? Splendid.

Yes, just Leav-itt to the coaches. It’ll give them something to do.

Do you actually think this isn’t something that will be discussed?

Will be discussed? So are you saying Kiffin only addresses problems when they pop up. I doubt it! Kiffin became known as an offensive guru because his teams were fundamentally sound and protected the ball, which created more scoring opportunities.

Thanks Captain Obvious. Do you maybe think Kiffin knows more about coaching quarterbacks than you do, or do you even think at all?

They should designate time to go over past performances. It would be cool if they could record said performances and discuss the things that can be improved. They could call it film study or something.

And you don’t think he had that conversation with him—in game.

Looking back at the picks, one was a bad read where he tried to fit into a tight window; but the other two weren’t decision making problems to me.

One was an overthrow on a play where he was under duress, the other probably should have been called for PI or defensive holding

I think you should make a bulleted list of all the things CLK needs to do and send it to him. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know and you clearly could help him out a lot.

Yeah not inspiring but 2 were off richochets.

the first one was just an overthrow into coverage.

I’d like to see better reading of the defense, especially in the red zone, but it was also a bit of bad luck.

Well, if he did have a conversation with Leavitt during the game, he wasn't listening. He threw three interceptions - one a pick six - and we led by 3 at half! Some of you guys need to grow some balls, because Leavitt was horrible in the first half. Against a team like Alabama or Texas, we get buried and the game's over in the first half.

You guys are a bunch of softies! This isn't college football of 20 years ago where players came to LSU because they loved the university. Today, we have 60+ new players on the roster because we paid them to come, not because LSU was their dream school, and that includes Leavitt.

Leavitt is at LSU because we paid the most and he sucked in the first half against La. Tech! We're lucky we played a weak Clemson team and a La. Tech that is projected to finish fourth in the Sun Belt. Take off your cheerleading outfit and put the pom, poms down because Leavitt is a paid employee that deserves to be criticized for his poor play.

Clemsons secondary is actually very good and La. Techs defense may be better than Ole Miss’s so there’s that. Tech has absolute studs at LB and a good Dline.
