Kiffin “down” about amount of significant injuries, team will need to think outside box

With injuries it really is what it is, can cost you some games due to not having the stars on the field, i.e green and weeks, but I trust Kiffin's decision making to put the next best guy on the line for the Tigers. Injuries only add pressure to coach for his first year expectations, I dont think thats fair, but nature of the beast with a winning program that expects that year in and out.

He's 100% correct. It will catch up to us at some point. This weekend is our last chance to rest some guys, other than the bye week before Bama. Every other team we play after McNeese can beat us, with the exception of maybe Arkansas.

Depth was always going to be an issue for a first year coach even with the portal to fill the 1st team holes.

This is what happens when the players don't. Wear padding like we used to back in the day. I had shoulder pads as big as the superdome.. and I made sure I wore my knee pads

Kiffin is holding Zoom meetings with reporters on Sundays to talk about the game starting after OM. He doesn’t want any questions about the previous weeks game after that. On to the next game.

Lane started doing a Sunday media zoom to discuss last game so Monday PC doesnt get consumed with that. Monday is to start next game prep.

Anding, Reliford, Green, Weeks, Spears, Wright, Ross & we are 4 games in lol.
Not sure there is a team in the country that wouldn’t be concerned about depth at this point. I’m impressed with the fact we are still in okay shape at LB.

As the schools add consequential games, as they lengthen the post season; there inevitably more injuries.

I think even our fans are smart enough to realize how injuries like this will affect a team that already had some depth issues.
My expectations have certainly diminished at this point. 9-3 would be a good season. If we can somehow get to 10 wins and into the playoff, maybe we can get healthy enough at that point to make some noise. Anything can happen if the CFP bracket falls your way.

Need to be lucky and good to win it all. Nobody has elite depth across the board anymore.
