Change it up each game. I’d like to hear Born on the Bayou and I’m From Louisiana

We’ve been doing piped in crap for years and born on the Bayou is the correct answer.

It’s a great opening and the riff is good.

People of all races and backgrounds can appreciate it.

The players and students do not want to hear 70’s and 80’s rock.

During the late 1980s they played that tune prior to kickoff. It was fantastic! Should bring it back.

They still sing "Sweet Caroline" and the "Piano Man" at multiple schools and pro venues. Those were 70s tunes. So, well, you're wrong.

Yeah that has been needing to go. It’s not exciting for anyone and is like a 15 year old song now.

9-3siana

But seriously, I hope not. We have a veteran QB, tons of speed and experience on offense, and a lot of new talented, but experienced players on D . I want to make the playoffs. If BK doesn't make it this year, then I think he may have done all he can do for us.

I’m not even a rap fan but this would be boring AF.

think that was the Ole Miss game and yes, it was a hell of an atmosphere with the light up wristbands. Problem is, in typical trash student fashion, they took them and threw them on the field so now LSU won’t ever do that again. They fricked up the best thing LSU football did in years but it was great while it lasted.

Not the students fault those things had the aerodynamics of a frisbee.

Doesn't virtually EVERY 'rap song' prominently feature 'hoes, naggers,$,guns'?

Remember, they’re playing the music the players want to listen to. There’s a decent chance the players don’t listen to rock and roll.

Don’t like this idea of catering to 18 yr old players every whim. LSU football and its culture is bigger than any player and current fads. Plus no recruit it going to go elsewhere bc of a kickoff song. A&Ms entire culture is very weird and they pull great recruits. You ever hear the songs the Packers play at Lambeau? It’s super dated and corny but they stay true to their identity and it works for them.

Nor does everyone want to see blue-haired, tattooed, nipple-ringed, under-21 snowflakes using "bro" and "like" in every sentence.

The "Pregame" march is from the early 1970s. Should LSU dump that?

Sounds like "bip op op oosiana, bip opp op oosiana" when played on the shitty Tiger Stadium sound system.

And by the way, did you know they call it "that boot"?
