I may be pumping sunshine over the running game, defense, and ST.. but it's to distract me from the travesty that is our passing attack

Are you even watching the games?
Most defenses are stacking 9 guys in the box and daring us to throw the ball and currently we have a quarterback that can't. Whether that is the coaches not letting him or his inability to do so, I can't tell you.
When LSU did start throwing the ball a bit down field in the second half guess what happened? State started backing up and the running game started opening up.
If you think that you can win in the SEC with a one dimensional offense then you are insane. LSU must have a balanced offense or at least one that can open it up down field when the opposing defense starts stacking the box playing their safeties 10 yards off the line of scrimmage.
