Well you either need to keep your current players or get new players from the portal. So far this offseason Jay has done neither

Did he lose his spot at 3rd base to Grahovac? Why would he go back?

Well he kept the young core of current players in Milam, Larson, Brown, Frey…Braswell and Bear haven’t entered the portal albeit they are probably draft losses. Brought in Hernandez, Yamin, Stanfield, and some nice JUCO bats through transfer. Not to mention he’s not done in the portal and that’s not including incoming freshmen. So I guess I’m saying, I respectfully disagree with your above statement.

Of the guys who left in the portal, how much production have we really lost?

Will see if the strategy works but lsu is not close to competing with Aggies or Texas with nil

I know of 2 football guys (one has transferred out) that ATM offered 2-3 times as much in NIL money. LSU is really nowhere near ATM with NIL.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong but every fan board I've read lately swears their team is lagging in NIL, this includes the two teams you've mentioned.

Don’t know if that’s much more but I have no doubt we are spending.

Here’s the thing. Sankey letting Texas in the SEC my guess lit a fire under many boosters that might have been holding back supporting NIL efforts. Schloss’s success the past three years probably had more to do with that one than anything else. If Texas were still in the big 12 our NIL fund would not have jumped like it did.

And with Schloss jumping to Texas, even more came in.
