You would melt if we got one of the best DC in the NFL right now? Well that’s just dumb.

THIS Gov and This BOS would accept him as the face of the program.

You say this. But Bordelon is a football guy. He’s not going to care about look as much as you. Also Verge and Shep have a good relationship already.

Kelvin is a very good DC in the NFL.

What does he know about being a HC in college, let alone the SEC?

LSU will not take that gamble.

Sheppard is no different than Mayo and Pierce in the NFL. He doesn’t even have a full year as a coordinator and less than 5 as a coach. LSU is not hiring this guy to run their program.

This is nothing but propaganda.

Sheppard hasn’t even been a coordinator for half of a season yet. He could turn out to be an outstanding coach, but it would be crazy to hire him at this point.

The best choice to get a lower annual salary and an incentive based performance based contract.....like 3 million per year for 5 years and 1 year added for every year team gets 10 wins. Give him championship incentives where he can make up to 15- 20 milion total compensation for a Natty and given year.
That coach that we will be very happy to have is ALEX GOLESH.
The fact that he isn't very very high on our list is insanity. He presently makes 2.5 million per at USF. He would jump on such a contract and take LSU to heights just like Saban did when he was under the radar HC.
AG is the best choice, but I am going to sit back and probably watch LSU make the most insanely ridiculous DEI hire in sports history.

Sheppard is more qualified to be LSU’s next DC than he is HC. Stop with this

I have no problem with hiring a coordinator that hasn’t been a coach before. However my issue is these type hires have typically been coordinators for a few years and seen as obvious coaching candidates. Kirby Smart, Lanning, etc. Sheppard hasn’t even been a coordinator for a full season.
