Kelly's ability to develop players

Alabama currently has 53 alumni playing in the NFL followed by Ohio State with 47. Third is LSU with 46, fourth is Georgia is 35. Notre Dame is fifth with 34.

To me, that speaks of his ability to develop talent.

Especially since he could only recruit half of the players the rest could recruit because of ND admissions requirements.

Try maybe 1/5 of the recruits available.

Did LSU really developed the player or did the NFL see the talent, but knew the coaching was flawed at LSU?
