What? You haven’t watched LSU players and coaches on the field before the games?

The only thing BK does is shake their hand & say hello. You’d have to be an absolute idiot if you think there is any conversation about how they should call the game.

Not surprised you would think that though

I can't speak to residential construction, but in Heavy Civil/Highway Construction this is literally what every Project Manager does. Especially in our Design-Build division.

Edit: Not to mention Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foreman, and Surveyors also find these issues. Its not anything special, some are better at it than others but its more of a concern if you can't as opposed to impressive if you do.

On both the college and the pro level they discuss plays or players with officials. Announcers have even reported on these conversations after the game. You’re not aware of this?

Coaches complain to the refs about specific calls & plays DURING the game all the time.

They absolutely do not discuss these things on the field before the game starts

No, they send in questionable calls/no-calls to the SEC office in hopes that the head of officials will address the calls/no-calls with said officials.

They do not have conversations before the game about specific calls/no-calls.

A coach would have to be an idiot to "remind" an official at the very beginning of the game to call the game properly. That's essentially accusing them of not doing their job properly before they even start doing their job.

It's like when my wife tells me to remind the yard guy to "do a good job" before he starts the yard. That presupposes that he WON'T do a good job if you DON'T tell him and it would just piss him off.

Kelly isn't trying to piss officials off before games start. He's sharing pleasantries. That's it.

You say some stupid crap on here.

Ok, let me explain it to you like you’re five years old….

You create a thread titled

quote:

Kelly will have a talk with SEC officials before the Alabama game, he always does

Which gives everyone the impression that

1. Given the gravity of the importance of the game that he will have a “closed door” (also known as behind the scenes) talk to SEC officials (paraphrasing here) so there’s no foul ups. Again, because of the importance of the game.

Then you go a step further and say

quote:

he always does

Making it sound like he always does prior to every game versus Alabama.

Not just every game period. Which is now what you meant (by your own admission).

quote:

I know you are just looking for something to Rant about

Hardly. I was simply asking a question but thanks for making another unnecessary comment about something completely irrelevant and being the jerk you are.

I’ve been nothing but cordial to you but you’ve taken care of that for everyone to see.

So much for having a reasonable conversation with anyone. You’ve done it more than once in this very thread.

I would guess Kelly is still riled some about the no call hit on his Heisman candidate QB Jayden Daniels in the end zone.
Which game was that?

Against Missouri, could have loss Daniels for the year because of that stupid shite. Daniels was not expecting that to happen in the endzone, that’s for sure.

I believe he’s referring back to the Mizzou game which we’ve already played 2 games since then. Not sure why TTT thinks BK would still have complaints about that

I believe Bama only had one 5 yard penalty last week with Tennessee. Just watching the highlights of the game there were several holding calls “missed” by Bama lineman…the home cooking was strong and I fully expect it to be again…

Hey TTT, did you know that the head referee (Jason Autrey) from that Mizzou game was the head referee for the game against Army last weekend?

Did BK have a secret convo with him on Saturday to tell him don’t let his QB get hit again?

It can go beyond that a coach could say, "They tend to hold a lot on OL or their DBs are very grabby. Could you watch out for that?" The ref will dismissively respond, "Ok Coach". and then call the game however they damn well please.

Lol. I’m more worried about House this year than I am of officiating. Won’t matter if we can’t scheme anything but a soft zone.
