I heard Culotta say this morning that Brian Kelly had to stop practice because he didn’t like that Malik Nabers was talking trash to whoever was guarding him after a touchdown catch. He made that a teaching moment to the whole team about showing up your teammates.

I will be glad to see our players stop hitting their chest after making a hit while the other team made a first down or being down 20 points

Still think he’s overdoing the disciplinarian act.

If McGlothern gets a pick against us he’ll probably run up and hand the ball to Kelly

I think it’s about time we have a coach that doesn’t put up with bullshite. I think Kelly probably let it slide the first time but if Nabers kept going Kelly said enough is enough. Honestly finally a coach that is using words like accountability and establishing a system that rewards performance and learning is so great to hear. Success will come if everyone buys into Coach Kelly and I think it comes earlier rather than later. LFG

This team lacked discipline and accountability the last few years because coach O wanted to be their best friend instead of a leader

2019 team was one of the most arrogant, cocky, trash talking, td celebrating, chest beating teams in the history of college football. But they won so we loved every minute of it.

I love Nabers. He's the most talented WR on the roster minus Boutte.

Kelly needs to ride that horse, not try to rein it in.

If it was just usual trash talk, I don’t mind nabers doing it. If he crossed a line and showed up his teammate, good on BK for stopping it. That kind of stupid stuff will show up in a game and get you beat.

Good for him. The whole culture could use that teaching moment. #inb4imaracist

You saying they didn’t do that internally at practice?
