He just had a ton of plays that looked like Reggie Bush trying to be the feature back for the Saints as well IMO. Dancing around in the backfield and getting tackled for a loss

and scott looks just as bad now (worse b/c he can't cut back) and people bring up the OL

I haven't disagreed that Scott looks bad this year. And Scott has never been able to cut back. He simply will not be able to be our feature with our line playing like it is and with no fullback clearing the way for him. We simply can't do the 3 yards and a cloud of dust thing that we have done in the past so much. I'd bring him in on third and short or 4th and short until our line looks better at least. And you know I am a big fan of his, I'd rather see us in the best situations though on the field.

Scott hasn't changed. He is the exact same back he was last year. It's the OL and FB that have changed, and he's heavily dependent on them opening up holes. Keiland is the one who has changed. Surely, even the biggest Keiland lovers can admit that he is much better this year than he was last year. And thank God, because with Scott struggling, we are gonna need him in a major way. If we keep gettting such shite blocking, I'd like to see a 20 carries for Keiland to 10 for Scott ratio.

And this was probably discussed in another thread, but Crowton's play-calling seems to completely random this year. There doesn't seem to be any sort of rhyme or reason for any of his calls. It's like he closes his eyes and points to a play and calls it. Nothing seems to be setting anything up, there's no rhythm, etc...

Hilarious, because that's what Charles Scott looks like he's doing when he gets the football.

I did notice that Miles had a playsheet in his hand and was talking it up to Crowton all game long. Miles definitely has his hands all over the playcalling.

Of course he is, he's from L-town. I remember laughing when Miles said he was fumbling a lot in practice since i can't remember him fumbling in a real game.

did Miles ever actually say this. I'm pretty sure this is a myth created and perpetuated on the Rant.

Keiland dancing too much is another myth created and perpetuated on the Rant, imo.

Nah, I have shouted plenty of "HIT THE frickING HOLE" when Keiland carried the ball back in the day. He definitely looks better now. These last two games, he has looked as good as anyone I have ever seen run the ball for the Purple and Gold. Great power, vision, speed. If he plays like this all year, he could work himself into the first round. I just hope our line gels and looks better. Last night might have been the worst Ciron has looked as a Tiger, hopefully whatever Vandy was doing will be something we work on.

It's funny how Scott went from being the guy who ran well that would get benched(like the UK game), to the guy that struggles and Miles refuses to bench.
