the last two games of the season he didnt play well but he didnt get that many carries either.

he was really bad the last two games. what was he like 10 carries for 11 yards against ole miss?

Btw, bad cat just went on a huge rant about Crowton letting Jamarcus throw the ball downfield a lot to boost his draft prospects even though he never coached him.

I can agree with most of that. I just don't think KW was this clear cut favorite the last few years. Scott looked like the guy for most of last year. and as much as everyone bashed Hester, he did what Miles wants more then Scott or Williams did in 07 (3 yards forward pretty much at worst), so I never had a problem with him starting. This season is the first where I am saying KW NEEDS to be starting over the other guys. It is obvious at this point that he should be our guy. I honestly think that is where we are going to go though.

all im saying is there wasnt a defining moment when you could honestly say, "ok he sucks", outside of the last two games.

Do you support benching players for a bad game? It was pretty late in the season when it was obvious that Scott was having problems. Problems that were just as much (more in my opinion) the Offensive lines fault as they were Scott's. Scott has to have blocking. There is no questioning that.

I've never had a problem with Keiland getting carries FWIW.

regardless of the rationale behind it, Miles and Porter clearly benched backups that are making big plays for no apparent reason. Keiland scores a 50 yard TD on a swing pass in the 2nd quarter against Auburn when we have no offense all game and doesnt see the ball again, Scott goes off on UK in the first half and has to watch an injured Hester play like shite in the 2nd half etc etc

It's because Miles loves Chuck. Therefore, the rant must come to his defense.

His ability is the same as then. I just think he was a lot more indecisive back then

Keiland was no indecisive at all in 2006 or 2007. The excuse for not playing him more then was he wasn't good at picking up blitz's.

Come on, man. I am one of the biggest fans of Keiland on this message board, but it's unnecessary to say these things to get a rise out of people with avatar of Les Miles staring resolutely (or blankly) into the camera.

I don't like Les's preference for the soft zone coverage on defense and running into linemen's legs on first down on offense, but the guy is not a complete moron.

Keiland had a lot of great plays during that time frame. He just had a ton of plays that looked like Reggie Bush trying to be the feature back for the Saints as well IMO. Dancing around in the backfield and getting tackled for a loss. He looks great so far this year.

Greatly exagerated imo. He ran like a man possessed in 2006-2007. Just didn't get enough looks so people tried to figure out why.

Lots of things were thrown at the wall: can't pick up the blitz, doesn't know the play book, can't read blocks, in the dog house, dances too much, etc.
