Without sounding like a jerk, all I can say is she doesn't warrant as much time on the court as she gets. Turnover Machine. I also said it last year.

IMO the entire team looked tentative against that half court trapping style D. We didn't attack it and get numbers for easy looks. Better teams will look to execute the same until we show we can show poise and confidence to break it.

In the exhibition games, she was coming off the bench with the third rotation after the starters and the backups. Not sure why CMK switched it up and played her more this game. Hopefully it is just to show her that she deserves to be in the third group with the mop up players!!!

She has games where she looks like a world beater and games where she looks like she's just learning to pass the ball. Those great games have always seemed to come in bigger moments.
Ultimately, the person putting her on the court is a 4-time NC winner as a coach, so I'll also trust that knows what she is doing.

I don’t want to bang too much on one player, but I will say instead that not every player appeared ready to perform in game one. Some in fact, appeared out of shape. One is apparently majoring in pancakes.

Just relating what I saw…she was the least athletic player on the court last night. And from a “who needs to be on the court” standpoint, that’s not good to be that player.

The only thing she has to offer is that she is big woman and occupies much space on the court. She’s too slow, isn’t quick, and is not a talented baskeball player.

She is registered in 2 area codes. But seriously, we don't have one G as of right now that has any quickness or speed. I know it's only one game but this whole team looked slow and wasn't impressed with Van Lith. She looked thick and slow as well.

I will never understand the problem with calling out an athlete’s weight and conditioning. Their performance depends on them being in shape.
Only defensive tackles and Offensive linemen should look fat. Everyone else should be in shape. I’ll see a tennis player with some extra pounds sometimes and wonder how the frick that happened.
