I really can't imagine having loved and played for LSU, left everything I have for them on the field, go on to future professional successes via the jump start my opportunity at LSU afforded me...and then one day just be like "frick it, I'm now with Bama and LSU can go frick themselves in every aspect." It would just turn my gut to consider being that way.

Not speaking for Karl, but many athletes feel used and abused by their school and actually have ill will.

I have a friend who played 4 years at a mid-major and has never set foot on campus in 30 years. And he lives less than two hours from campus.

Man, that is his career. Do you expect him to say "I am going to either work at LSU or find another career"?

There is a reason Alabama has had the best recruiting class for over 6 years in a row.

Hire him and let him team with his old coach for a year as a special assistant.

He interviewed with the saints recently. Last week I think. Karl may not be at bama much longer.

I get that career/earnings is top priority, but the guy had a lot of success as an NFL coach too...opportunities abound for Dunbar, to say the least. Guess he just wants to work for Saban and coach the beasts they get to sign.

......you wouldn't appreciate being his FB friend. He's very proud of his accomplishments at Bama, especially the graphic highlighting the LA takes this go around.

He should be proud of his work, but damn it's tough watching him rub it in

They pillaged the state this year. Kids are star struck by shiny diamond rings and Saban has a lot of those. We are just going to have to beat them and get the state tightened up back in favor of LSU.

One thing I know for sure is that Coach O loves LSU, is assembling the best staff he possibly can, and wants to beat Saban. I have faith that he can and will.
