Then some of these nerds will say some dumbass, random shite like ‘he’s 222 pounds I think he needs to be 224 7/8 pounds’ like they know what the frick they are talking about

Some chode yesterday was arguing about the updated heights LSU posted… acting like they can successfully tell you someone’s exact height from pictures and videos without a point of reference

235 starts to remind of Kenny Hilliard. Just a pound it RB for short yardage, seeks out contact and barrels over guys but doesn't make the break away play.

Dude averaged 5.2 ypc at LSU. He may not have been a home run hitter, but he wasn’t just 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

He'll lose some of that weight during fall camp. Carrying some extra weight during the summer isn't necessarily a bad thing once you consider all the water/mineral loss they undergo in the blazing heat.

He'll line up against USC at 225-230ish.

Agreed. I’m sure they want his fighting weight to be around 225-228. He will drop at least 7# in camp. The rest is going to be how to maintain it throughout the year.

I think we utilize the run game a lot more this year so he will need the weight.

He didn’t have 30 lbs of muscle to put on anywhere. Dude was already jacked

Maybe we just made him swallow a bunch of weights right before weigh-in like those guys that cheated in that fishing tourney did.

I agree with 225 number as the highest. Speed and quickness is more important that an additional 10 lbs, even if it is al muscle.

Kenny Hilliard wasn’t fast. Whether he was 210 or 235. Leonard Fournette was fast, whether 210 or 235. Kakeb Jackson is fast. You may lose some wiggle but you are typically fast or you are not.

Another example, John emery is not a fast straight line runner, no matter what weight he is at. He explosive, and would not be quite as explosive with weight gain

Kaleb is that big bodied track guy like Leonard was. He will be fine

So how does work with our corners at 165. They will get down to 155?

He was 225 last year. 10 Ibs in a year. Some of that is muscle, a little bit of that is fat, and some of that is water retention.

Probably waited to weigh himself after a big meal right before he had to take a 5 pound dump

Or, and hear me out on this, the original 200 pound high school weight was completely bullshite.

He's probably gained about 10 pounds, if that.

LF slowed down significantly after putting on weight.
Cost him his job. Lucked out to win a super bowl as an extra back. When he was trim, still large, but really fast.
Not fast in the NFL or SEC doesn't get it done.
