Who wasted more potential?

Alley really didn't waste potential.........He has single game rushing record............
Injury set him back and then he thought rap was his game.
Gotta go with JV.

Probably Broussard
He was like 230 and had a ton of speed. Vincent was good, but in 2003 he realized it. Broussard had more potential.

Broussard probably would be considered the greatest back at LSU(or up there) had he not sustained the injury. The injury kinda lingered even when he came back, so I think he just gave up.
JV only had one good year and then never really did much after his Freshman season. Not sure if it was because he hit his peak and more teams adjusted to his running or he just was pure lazy. I know he let the nightlife go to his head too much.
I'd probably say Broussard personally. I think he had more potential. Healthy, he was a beast. Good as JV was his freshman year, he never was on Broussard's level, IMO.

Alley. 2004 Ole Miss was one of the greatest games an LSU RB ever had.

i don't think broussard can be considered as having wasted his potential. he got hurt and was never the same, not really his fault imo. vincent got lazy and overweight and lost all his speed

Vincent. Alley at least had the injury. The Diesel was more disappointing then either though, because he had NFL all pro talent.

Yeah, nobody ever seems to remember Vincent's torn ACL.
At least Vincent made money playing on practice squads for a while too. Alley wasted more, IMO.

He didn't exactly work very hard to come back from that knee injury, plenty of guys bounce back from that

Agreed, but when you see things like:

it sure does seem like people forget that JV had a torn ACL. Again, he also played in the NFL, whereas Alley became a wanna be rapper.
Vincent lost his job to a future first round pick that made a Pro Bowl.

Broussard at least has a fall back option as a rapper...

I know you are probably joking, but Vincent has been making $90-100K per year playing on NFL practice squads.
Posted on 7/16/11 at 3:51 pm to Tiger in NY
that won't be lasting forever.

Of course not, but I doubt that Alley Broussard has made $100K in a year rapping. I am just pointing out that Vincent has done something with his football talents at least.

Didn't JV get a ACL injury before the NC season? Isn't that why he was a RS?
