I like coach Miles but I think he could be making a mistake placing all this confidence in jefferson and lee. Mettinburger is listed as 3rd string on the depth chart. A third string QB gets almost no reps during practice, if JJ and Lee fail again Mett will not know the offence.

Link?

The bench press is a combine joke.

Okay so you are telling me it serves no purpose at all? Then why do NFL teams want to see it performed?

shite that is right when you 'worked' with Moffit. You should know all about that

I do know all about it actually. Laron was a freak genetically. Moffitts program held him back. Look at what he is built like now even worlds different from when he was at LSU.

Moffit wadnt hired to create workout warriors, he was hired to create football players.

That goes hand in hand. Look at Trent Richardson or hell Laron Landry.

So LSU gets the most genetically gifted athletes every year? They come to LSU and get shitty training but some how every year rep us well in the draft...

Do you notice how every single year our players underperform at the combine. This isn't isolated incidences it is pretty much year after year.

So is that why LSU Is one of the top 3-4 NFL producing colleges??

Uh maybe because the athletes at LSU are just superior genetically? I think that is pretty much the case.

It's a pretty good indicator of the quality of your S&C program. There is a reason why the NFL teams want to see it at the combine.

comparing Chad Jones to Trindon Holliday on bench is such a poor example it's not even funny.

How is that a poor example. In fact, I was wrong Trindon repped one more than CJ at the combine.

You don't work out in baseball? Also moreso you bench like a small arse slot guy all of a sudden when you are maintaining?

We get guys drafted in the later rounds the last couple yrs instead of early rounds due to piss poor combine results a direct correlation with s and c.

Chad Jones is a perfect example of this. I think Trindon and him did the same bench at the combine 9 reps.

is that an excuse? If you are well conditioned that changes the game. Something our team has consistently neglected.

The most revolutionary S&C coach in the business.

First off.. CT is hardly a revolutionary. He does more or less the same thing everyone else has before him.. tweak old routines, recycle old routines, etc.

Have you read his programs?

hat exactly is your gripe with Moffitts philosphy btw?

He is using 1970's strength and conditioning philosophies. We need someone more modern such as Christian Thibodeau to come in and revamp our program and turn it into a 21st century athletic program.

Nowhere have I said that we suck. I have simply said that Moffitt has time and time again been saved by superior genetics not his program.
