The hatred for the current coaching staff is very similar to the hatred for the president. You didn't get your way, so you throw a fit.

She's never going to be president.

Why do we care so much about this guy? He’s a good running back but are problem hasn’t been running back for a long time. Congrats to the guy and Clemson!

Our problem has been o-line first and foremost. D-line should be stronger too and we’ve missed way to many targets on both sides.

I mean he got Heisman votes & was a stud in our own state as a sophomore. Just an obvious miss by Les. This is a message board where people talk about these things.

You picked a strange year to post that.

Etienne wouldve probably given us onebif not two more wins. He is that much better than either of our guys.
Look, sometimes you miss on guys, I ain’t even mad. But it would be nice to have him

“bash Les Miles”

The amusing part of this story is that the player in question was beginning his senior year bout the time LSU was firing miles and still miles is to blame.

I guess giving cover to those in authority at the time the guy signed with Clemson is more important to some than all of us just admitting LSU Lost out on a pretty good RB for whatever the reason.

Yea let’s not mention that he had already ran for 3k yards & 42 TDs as a Jr and had already ran 4.38 at camps

There are people here trying to blame coach O. The truth is nobody is to blame. Some kids just want to go somewhere else. Like everyone else I'm glad that some of the process has come to light but to use the information put blame on someone is just shitty.

This is the closest I've seen to truth...the infatuation with Akers was as real as butternut ice cream taste. My man was all LSU coming up until snubbed. Congrats to the national champion T. Etienne from my home town!!!!!!!

I don't think Justin would have publicly said this if it was O.

The reason was established early-early-early senior year and is identified in the thread.

Having seen both Akers and Etienne (my home town) on multiple films and friend reports from "camp watchers"...and as a non-not-even-close-expert-opinioner, it was obvious to me the better was going to wear Tiger orange. Though Akers does look good in uniform...so there's that.

My time is short, I just hope I don't have to watch this happen again to such a quality LA young man. He is playing for the person I most admire as a role model and leader of young men playing ball at the university level. Clemson priorities set by their staff and university are "crystal clear" to participants.

PS: On Monday, students at Ward Elementary in Jennings wore "Orange Tiger" tees backing Travis!
