I've played college football and bulletin board material is for the fans, for the most part. This is a huge game...I have a hard time imagining anyone needing extra motivation for this game.

Yep I’ve played sports and I know how shite talking works. Like I said earlier, it’s not going to make us or them give more effort. If you don’t give it everything you’ve got in this matchup, something is wrong with you. This quote will have absolutely no bearing on the game. Once the ball is kicked, the players will be totally locked in. They have a lot more to worry about than some quote made during the week.

The bravado is not false, he’s earned it on the playing field. Hopefully the whole team truly believe they can dominate Bama, which is not some mythical unbeatable team some fearful LSU fans have made them out to be. If the team fears them like you, they will never beat them.
Do you remember before the national championship game against us a Bama o lineman said they were about to restore order? Was that false bravado too? How did that attitude work for them? The last Tiger who had what you’d call false bravado played lights out against Bama. He back up everything he said. If the whole team followed his example they would have dominated Bama.

I love it. Who gives a shite about bulletin board material. Do you honestly think Jefferson saying this will give Alabama more motivation then LSU after getting destroyed by Alabama last year? LSU is gonna get the best from bama anyway like always. This comment will maybe get us a personal foul at a key moment in the game which is good lol. I just don't see the big deal. We are both gonna bring it regardless. Our team knows what the deal is. We have to play our best to win. This comment changes nothing.
