I didn’t mean to respond to you it was in response to the Burreauxx guy. My bad

So Burrow wasn’t as good as an undrafted guy as Ohio st so we should not have brought him in over Brennan
Great logic

No worries. I think people are underestimating how much of an advantage Brennan has over Fields at LSU. He's going into his 4th year and 2nd year in this offense. If you bring in Fields, you're really asking a lot of him to be able to learn the offense and create chemistry with his teammates enough to overtake Brennan.

Well, Brennan was only going to be a true sophomore at the time so it's perfectly logical comparison. Plus, you're the one talking about using draft picks being a reason why Brennan wasn't good enough. Maybe he just wasn't ready yet. That doesn't mean he isn't ready now. QBs like Burrow, Blake Sims and Kyle Trask immediately come to mind that were in a similar situation. If Brennan can do what any of those guys did with their chance to start later in their college career, we will be fine.

You do realize that Fields left one offense and became a Heisman finalist in a completely different offense literally the next season, right?
And you also should know that lsu has a new passing game coordinator and never he nor Myles got the benefit of spring ball.
So this wide gap you mention seems unlikely

Fields had Spring practice and an whole summer of working with the other skill players at Ohio State. He won't have that here.

Neither has Brennan with non-backups
One is a top 5 pick and the other may or may not get drafted.

We saw why Burrow was so good in this offense last season even aside from his command and decision making which was as rare as anything you’ll see in college. It was his ability to push the ball downfield and make tough throws. Brennan has that capability Fields doesn’t and it’s really that simple. We aren’t going to win anymore with Fields dinking and dunking easy 5 yard throws than we would even if Brennan is inconsistent.

When was Fields drafted top 5?
Posted on 8/14/20 at 6:40 pm to Madking
Look, not even an nfl team would turn down the chance to add a top 5 pick for a year if they could.
So get off your Brennan high horse and focus on championships over loyalty

Ja'Marr Chase disagrees with you...
quote:
For Chase, he's seen first hand for weeks now just how different and more comfortable Brennan looks behind center. The receivers and Brennan come together three times a week to throw, which Chase said has done wonders for communication.
"So far I see Myles doing very good," Chase said. "Me and Myles have been on the money, we have the same mindset and are on the same page. Just three times a week can help us be a step better with our communication. One thing you need with your quarterback is chemistry especially for a receiver. Last year I know me and Joe ended up clicking on the same page without even trying. I know if I can get that same thing with Myles we'll definitely be great together."

I haven’t commented much on Brennan because there isn’t much to go on so you can put away your straw man. Again when was Fields drafted top 5? And of course you’re wrong, plenty of teams pass on QBs when they already have a starter on board. More fantasy narratives.

If we ride, we're riding with Brennan.

Lol no wonder you idiots buy anything the media pumps. He’s not accurate, he doesn’t have a great arm, he’s not a threatening runner and he’s a poor decision maker. It doesn’t matter if they call his number from the 2 yard line vs Rutgers, that’s an empty stat. You don’t know anything about football.
Lmfao. I don’t want Fields, but LMFAO.
