I can understand a number 1 holding back a front line pitcher against a number 4 but there isn't a great deal of difference between number 2 and a number 3.

Big blunder not throwing your best last night. Then again, you're ULL and nothing more is ever expected from you.

Yeah, I understand that but watching some of that LSU game yesterday, Jax's pitching looked pretty bad. I'd feel more comfortable piecing together Boutte, Plitt, Smith, etc. against them than SHSU.

The best case is to jump out to a big lead early and putting in a guy like Kody Smith so Austin can maybe pitch again. However, if we can't beat Jax, then it's time to go home anyway.

I see what you're saying but the ONLY chance we had to win this thing was Austin going against Nola. Ryan Wilson was our ace for most of the season. The pitching wasn't even really an issue 99% of our games this year, if we hold the other team to 4 runs, we win by 5. We could have played to win game 1 and Austin probably would have won it, but we were giving it a shot to win the whole thing.

Now we'll need a small miracle because after Austin it gets very bleak, however no Glenn is a small blessing if it does come down to it. He raped us.

I hear you. And I know, hindsight is 20/20. It was a gamble. If y'all win yesterday, Tony is looking like a genius. Instead, now he's the goat.

If LSU wins today, I can't imagine anyone left having the pitching to beat LSU 2 games straight. But, strange things can happen, so who knows.

Yeah, like I said, the only thing I'd change yesterday is letting Wilson face another guy/putting Mayer in over Hicks.

It'd also be nice if we could Butler back in the lineup, could have used him against two lefties last night.

I was riding the wave, got drunk before hand but forgot y'all don't sell beer inside the game so I was hungover by the 8th inning. Miserable experience.

Well, my favorite part of yesterday was watching all the people "confirming" Bregs concussion/eye socket fracture, and that both he and Rhymes would be out the remainder of the regionals, possibly the SR, and even for the year.

Pop fly in shallow left, both running hard to get it. No one appeared to call the other off, and they collide head to head, hard. Both leave game and never come back.

Rhymes has busted lip with stitches. Bregs goes to hospital for testing.

"Confirmed" reports coming in afterwards are both have broken noses, fractured eye sockets, and concussions. When it's all said and done, looks like Rhymes with a busted lip, and Bregs just shaken up. Both playing today.
