Pitching wasn’t great last year, but I thought Kelly did a great job getting what he did out of them.
I have talked some shite about Wes’ pitch calling in the moment. He can’t be a bad coach. He did a fine job at Arkansas and the Twins.
This year’s defense is leaps and bounds better than last year’s. Still not a great defense, but if we had fielded at this level last year that might have been enough to put us in a position to host a regional.

People can try and tell themselves everything is okay with this team but they are not playing as as good as they were earlier in the season by a long shot.
You don't win series over UT, Ark, UK, and split with USC with the way this team is playing in May.
Good thing is we know they can play better so only thing we can do now is hope they get back to it because if not, it will be a short postseason.
