Just some sickening Defensive stats

Two ways to look at it. New defensive coach, nearly totally depleted of defensive players and Covid mixed in. Can’t get any better excuses and can’t get much worse than that. Or could it? Will be missing 4 signees this year and next.how bad will that hurt the defense, do we forget about recruiting QB’s or some skilled players on offense to shore up the defense?

Not to place blame any one group but in this particular department the safeties have been the culprit. Seems like every 20 yard gain turns into a 40 yarder.

You never feel like there is deep containment with this team. You know you are always one play away from an opponent's touchdown. We are the anti-DBU. No swag, no fundamentals.

I an assure you the worst coaches don't teach the secondary to blow coverages...I guess you think they aren't taught their responsibilities? whos is more to blame the secondary coach who we have had forever that is the problem? a guy who has coached defense forever? or the players allowing guys to run free every game?

Secondary Coach (I think Raymond is over rated to be completely honest) doesn't call defensive coverages or make adjustments play to play.

I blame ZVR. If he would stop being so good at pinning the other team deep in their zone they would only be scoring 80 yard TD drives instead of 95 yards. Those 15 yards add up over the course of the game.
