great play of Burrow and the superhuman effort at times of Helaire, Bama would have probably found a way to beat us again, especially had they been able to play mistake-free ball. Their defensive line play is definitely better than ours still at this point. Great thing is that we are finally able to compete and go toe to toe after going two years without scoring a point. With another year of great recruiting next year and provided we get another really good QB to step up from somewhere, we should be able to beat Bama at least 50% of the time as long as Saban is there.

I just turned on my recording of the game and it shows me the commercials as a fast forward and I cant believe how many commercials are in this recording

Anfernee Jennings was really quick off the edge. Dude has a great knack for timing the snap.
If Brennan has one thing going for him it's that he will have some proven weapons in Chase and Marshall
We have a great incoming class of WRs that should be mature by the 2021 season also. If Brennan stays for 2 years expect a lot of offensive production. Although we can't expect him to be Burrow.

We didn't play our best game either dude. What game were you watching? Did you see where bama scored on a bomb against stingley when he wasn't ready and was looking towards the sideline? How about when we missed tackles and poor execution on some plays, especially on their punt return for a TD where we had him tackled and blew it? LSU could have beaten them much worse than we did and didn't play our best either, so miss me with the bullshite. Bama just got beaten by a better team in LSU.

Riveting...so you are saying..if our two best offensive players all of a sudden sucked...and then the opponent makes NO mistakes..we could have lost ??

Bama had three freak plays or woulda been totally blown out.

Yep, that's what I got out of his post. LSU could play bama 10 times on a neutral field and beat them 7 out of 10 times. We are the better team and without us giving them the game, they can't best us this season. Idk why it's so hard for people to say or believe that LSU is just the better team? They give bama excuses when they just got beaten on the field. Like i said, LSU could have beaten them worse than we did, but we didn't play our best game either. Geaux Tigers.

Exactly. And on those freak plays, it was LSU that made mistakes to allow them to even happen. But he wants to forget about those happening though? Lol, just dumb.

Absolutely, but LSU had some freak plays in our favor as well. Tua had an unforced fumble, they had a mishandled snap, and Jeudy dropped a touchdown.

We got held on a TD to chase that wasn't called, had a few facemasks that weren't called, missed a tackle on their punt return for td, missed block by charles that got burrow sacked and fumbled the ball right into their players hands, got scored on a bomb against stingley 2 times, one when he was looking at the sideline when the ball was snapped and wasn't paying attention and another against stingley where we had a blown coverage and no safety help over the top. Gave up sacks due to poor execution by charles a couple of times that he normally doesn't make. There's plenty more then I forgot about and this is just off the top of my head. It goes both ways.

The menal lapses can be explained fairly easily. We knew were going to beat Bama so we were looking ahead to what will certainly be a fired up Ole Miss team.

Yeah, that's a tall order...as the OP said, though...it took a near perfect game at QB to beat bama...

and provided we get another really good QB to step up from somewhere.
Max Johnson will be a perfect fit for this Offense. Don't need a great athlete, just somebody with moxy that is an accurate passer, can read defenses and make quick decisions.

Honestly, those plays stood out as a glaring problem...
I think it's a coachable thing though...
The closer the DB gets to the los, the more he needs to focus on the snap...

Run it through your head with Bama not having their 2 best players and report back.

Just rewatched the game too. Offense was awesome all around - all facets and positions. CEH is going to go down with Jacob Hester in Tiger lore: scrappy, under-sized, under-rated, and flat-our baller.

Haven't rewatched but CEH was the MVP for me. Burrow was the fricking man but CEH was just on another level. He truly dominated. Clutch, too. Legendary performance

Yes u need an athlete behind center for Christ sake. Was the shite not clearly evident on Saturday? Burrow’s ability to run is what makes him elite. He can extend drives. Like Danielson said this isn’t some 5.2 guy he’s a 4.6, 4.7 kid. He gashed Bama multiple times with his legs. Had his Heisman moment to some on the read option play.
