I don’t think all the mess that Fsu is in now is all on Fisher. I think Taggert has a lot to do with it as well- he’s really not very good.

Your answer was very well thought out. Hit it on the head even Miss State carried on and had nice season. Fla State even with QB coming back, let’s say it like it is . They stink, can’t talk for Akers but bet he has second thoughts about committing to a coach who no longer is there. I know Kids commit to schools , but they also take into account who be coaching them. It’s called making lifetime relationships.

They both share the fault. Is Fisher good coach, sure . Is he program changing,no!

You want facts, ok here is one for you. Fisher and Herman were ussing LSU, neither wasl left at the altar byLSU. FACT! Fisher can blow all the LSU love up you Fisher lovers all day and twice on Sunday, he was NEVER coming here. Stood us up not once but twice,FACT! Ask anybody in the know. Going to leave it at that.
As another poster mentioned above, it is quite remarkable how so many can so adamantly hold a position when they haven’t the slightest clue as to what they claim to know as fact.

In the six seasons prior to Fisher becoming head coach FSU won 47 games.
Over the next six seasons under Fisher FSU won 68 games with three straight ACC titles and a national championship.
Agree to disagree

Are you Fisher’s agent?

What happened at Florida State is of no concern to me. What happens when A&M plays LSU is of great concern to me.
Anyway, A&M doesn’t seem to be in shambles. That seems to be the more relevant point at this time, but each to our own.

Fla State matters because it gives Aggie’s and LSU’s recruits an idea of the kind of coach Fisher is, he’s really of a lesser quality than others who left Texas, Miss St and LSU in better shape. Never want Fisher coaching at LSU, never!

I know from way up foods chain it wasn’t going to happen Was not LSU fault as most want to believe. Jumbo lives a complcated life . Getting better but just say he has some things in his life that keeps him tied to other things that are not very good for his well being. Leave it at that.

As all negative Nancy posters here say O is shite and that , Jimbo still only has one recruiting class Takes time just as O took over program with glaring holes same can be said for Fisher.

Would def take as offensive coordinator but that’s it .

“Fla State matters”
Different states, different recruits, different conferences, and different resources.
Jimbo, I think, is the only head football coach in the state of Texas who’s going to have a national championship ring on his hand when he meets recruits. That’s a lot more important to high school players than what happen in Florida. imo
We might be able to better judge what kind of coach Jimbo might or might not be after Saturday night. That game is going to be a lot more important to any recruits we are fighting over than anything that happen at Florida State.

LSU and coach Orgeron need to punch Texas A&M in the mouth, in the gut, send a strong message which program is on the way up and which will remain average.

O is now 13-4 vs the SEC west over 3 seasons now... the hardest division in the hardest conference that has EVER existed
He wasn’t the coach when the division was at its prime, Miles was. The division is much weaker now

"Jimbo went on to coach at FSU for 8 years accumulating an 83-23 record, a 2013 BCS national championship, 3 ACC conference championships, 4 AP Poll top 10 finishes, and 4 bowl game victories. His 0.783 winning percentage is the highest in FSU history among former head coaches."

I know that many of you feel the need to try and convince yourselves that O is a better HC than Jimbo, but it simply isn't true. There is no comparison between O's resume and Jimbo's resume. One bad season after losing your starting QB for the year doesn't make you a bad HC. Numerous bad seasons do, however.

Is it really though? O has more than 2 years worth of catching up to do to get anywhereclose to Jimbo's level of success.
