Who knows if they’re wrong or right, but they both have serious doubts about the tigers and see us finishing 4th in the west at no more than 6-4. I know we’re talented, but we can’t afford any hits to the little depth we have left. That’s assuming we get to play a full season.

Mark Packer was actually doing some analysis?

he's show is usually full of callers and rants about what to cook at tailgates

Someone also called his show and said LSU had new O-line coach, new offense to install and new Offensive Coordinator. All false

who cares. This season, if it even occurs, will be a joke, with reduced rosters and quarantined players varying from week to week.

Don’t invest any emotional energy in this season.

LSU is still way ahead of most SEC teams. LSU will be favored in six games at a minimum, so 6-4 is not a best case scenario.

If we finish with less than 8 wins, it will be the first time in 20 years. Oklahoma is the only other team that can say that.

We were ranked about the same preseason, but most people around the country were confident due to how many guys we had coming back. We’ll find out quickly how well the young guys have developed with only 5-7 starters back.

Everyone thinks A&M will be good. To that, I reply with a sensible chuckle.

This year will be weird anyway but yea, hard to see how we won’t be a 4-5ish loss team this year. We literally lost all of our best players that meant anything to the team (save stingley) and all of the coaches that mattered too.

Before the schedule was cut and changed I thought it would be hard to get 9 wins. Now I think we win maybe 6 out of 10. 7 if we get hot

Last year we had an extremely mature team coming back and we had two breakout superstars in Chase and Burrow. Even if we luck into two more this year we have a thin and young team. We will probably take our lumps this year. 7-3 give or take one.

Outside of the DL, I really don't have a major worry on this team. I think the OL will be decent enough, Brennan is finally ready to take the lead, and we are pretty much loaded everywhere else.

I expect us to be good in pass coverage, but I expect growing pains in run defense. Barely any experience on the DL or at LB that's good in defending the run.

Why are you in so many threads with this shite? If you didn't actually care as much as you type about it, you wouldn't be on the forum right now.

Fact is, they have no idea what kind of team LSU has. We'll find out soon enough. If Steve Ensminger truly understood how to operate LSU's offense then I'm comfortable LSU will be difficult to stop. I suspect the biggest change will be that the LSU will be a little more reliant on the running game to keep the defense off balance.
