we'll see tonight how the field holds up, but i still think field turf is the way to go.

I agree that in our south Louisiana climate, our field just can't hold up. After we tear it up today, it will be crap for the rest of the year. Today it will probably be fair, until the 4th quarter then it will be mush.

As for piped in music, I've got no problem with it before the game, while the band's not playing, and I don't really mind it right before half when the band is not in their seats. However, it should never be played in Tiger Stadium when we have the band in their seats and able to play.

weren't we supposed to install a new drainage system last year?

hopefully, it'll make things better. And, I don't really care how the field looks. I'm much more concerned with how the team will look.

Shitty field will affect how the team plays, so it is actually relevant.

dude it's likely going to monsoon at tiger stadium tonite our field has been horrible for years, and it looks like it will be horrible after our first game this year

Let's just cancel the game, disband the football team, and plant corn between the 20's.

is it just me? i have never had a problem with the field conditions. we have won championships with our crappy field haven't we?

also, it's my opinion that no outdoor field should ever have turf. it's not natural. and if you're talking about keeping tradition, i'd rather pay more money to keep what we have than to go artificial.

That field really helped against Arkansas in 2007.

Good response, you are a smart guy, but here's some of the adjectives taken from many of your posts. You use the adjectives frequently and project a highly negative opinion in every post you make.

- fricking sucks (referring to any coaching decision, playcall, player or coach for LSU)
-terrible
-awful
-horrible, horrific
-bad, worse
-slow, fat (referring to any LSU player)
-clueless
-"shitty" (refers to any LSU tradition or situation)
-garbage (refers to any LSU player who doesn't meet your expectations)

I challenge you to make one, just ONE, positive post concerning LSU. You're either a very unhappy person in real life, or a shite-stirrer.

that's a shitty outlook. For one thing, not doing what every high school in the country does would be original.

Hell, it made a Heisman Trophy winner out of Billy Cannon. If he can return a kick for a touchdown in those old arse cleats, why can't we do it now. Just do it. Swoosh.
