Go get admitted to the Bama board to make these Bama dick riding posts.

It's about details, man. Bama's doing the details better these days, and it's embarrassing. Louisiana has spent the last five years gutting LSU, losing over 200 professors (and their grants), etc. etc.

Bama has lost a lot of funding too, but is actually growing and improving. It's a fact. I'm not saying I want to be a Gump. I hate most things about the state of Alabama, but you can't argue with facts.

OP Dreamland may be the 5th best BBQ joint in Tuscaloosa since they opened a Jim and Nicks and Full Moon reopened after the Tornado.

Not sure what this has to do with academics.

Nothing with academics but everything with perception. The polical landscape in both states is spot on. There is a change in cultural, academic, industrial perception on going in our country. The South needs to continue its advancement. That is a fact no matter what colors you wear on Saturday. All academic programs from Columbia to Aggieland need to push one another. We all benefit.

I did eat a pulled pork sandwich from Full Moon's truck on the quad. Very good.

One cannot even walk around the Alabama campus without being diverted because of the construction of academic buildings.

Damn sounds like a shitty student like having to walk through a construction zone every day. Does the university provide students with houndstooth hard hats as well?

My point is, simply, that academically LSU is not keeping up. Not with Alabama, not with anybody

With all due respect, this is far from correct. LSU has the best business school in the conference behind Vanderbilt and the very best engineering program in the conference as well as the vet school. I believe you are basing your analysis of Alabama's newfound "academic excellence" on the construction cranes you have seen on campus.

Well, we should pay them to keep him the hell away from me.

I want physical harm to come to no one, but I am close to crossing that line with wishing that upon him. He is the single most irritating individual I have ever seen.

I will enjoy it when he cant speak in a few years from that fake arse vocal pattern he uses.

1.) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Most SEC campuses are beautiful. Georgia is beautiful, Arkansas is beautiful, Auburn is pretty nice...Alabama is not blowing away recruits because they have pretty buildings on campus

2.) Strip is awesome

3.)It's a good stadium. Amazing though? I disagree. Give me tradition over modernization any day of the week. This isn't the NFL, college is fueled by passion and tradition. The venue is a driving force of that. LSU fans take great pride in "death valley" and "Tiger Stadium". It's almost as if the stadium is it's own entity.

4.) Their fans suck. I've been the last 5 times and it's always the same. It's all piped in and artificial. I'm scared Alleva is trying to get LSU to go that direction.

LSU's research capacity shits on Alabama's. The bond service on all those buildings is going to succck when Bama's enrollment drops too.

A student can attend LSU, graduate, and do just fine in life. Regardless of what "the rankings" say.

I'm guessing you don't know how the us news rankings are calculated. Anyone with a brain knows they are worthless for evaluating higher education.
