That was a good call; however, only a blind person would not see the obvious bias officials have for Alabama. For the absolute life of me, I cannot understand why the SEC cannot evenly call games. Officiating as a whole in football is as bad as it has ever been, and is only hastening my apathy.

This take was brought to you by Draft Kings in the Bet ESPN studios.

Are you really surprised with the trash that has taken over the fanbase? Screaming STTDB on national TV is now the hallmark of LSU football and it's flat out embarrassing

Yeah let the downvotes pour in but the whole game, game day, crowd ignorantly throwing trash, all the focus on STTDB, and even the tiger were a net negative to the LSU brand.
I think it was the trashiest day in LSU history when you factor in everything.

I was proud of them. They contributed more to the game than our coaches and players. At least the fans gave a shite.

Bad night all around for LSU.
Yeah the crowd should have been called for a late hit. The bottles and piss ballons should have been deployed early in the 1st quarter when the game was clearly being dictated by the Zebras. Exhibit A & B: 1st drive ignored Bama choke holds. 2nd drive the free TD @ the goal line. I'm not saying it isn't trashy LOL pun but the bottles came late and clearly on a correct call.

He touched his facemask… so sure you can call it. Is that why he got tackled? Was it egregious? Did it change the outcome of the play? No, but the penalty did

The only thing that would have been worse is if the thousands of Bama fans had rushed the field after the game

Bama team and fans knew this was just going to be a business meeting in Baton Rouge. Nobody was thinking upset. Take care of business, and GTFO of town. They dominated both sides of the ball from the beginning and knew this was going to be over sooner than later.

Anyone saying he only touched the face mask and it wasn't a valid call is a complete moron.

He didn't just touch it, he pulled it. It is a safety rule, not a rule because it gives a team an advantage in all situations. Not all penalties are called because they impact the play. Should late hits, targeting and unnecessary roughness also be ignored? No, that little pull was not going to hurt Milroe, but it is about enforceing the technique that the game requires.
