one of the hardest balls to judge as an outfielder is a liner hit on the nose straight at you, only looked at it once, don't recall if this was the case or it was more of a blooper that the CF was trying to go for a web gem on

only reason I know is i just so happened to be watching when it happened.

Well considering I was an outfielder and second baseman in the 1960’s (including 1 year in college as a second baseman before with screwed up) and an umpire for many years in and around the BR area in the eighties to early 1990’s, that would be Stone Age to most of you.

That was a horrible play by the CF and he should’ve caught the ball on one hop. Plus I don’t pull for anyone who went to Catholic High
