Pay more money and get something from Beyerdynamic or Grado. My buddy has some Beats and they don't hold a candle to my Beyerdynamics. I'm a recording engineer. Take it for what it's worth.

It was decently written but by no means some incredible piece of literature. He's a fairly well spoken guy, I'm sure he wrote that.

Definitely a well-spoken young man. Clearly, he likes to write, which is why he writes well. It does not take a huge brain to write well. All it takes is interest. Get a few How To books and learn at your own pace. It is much easier than say learning to play the guitar. Not even close. Yet it is amazing how much there is to learn even after a lifetime of practice.
