That's exactly my point. That's the kind of stuff JJ should be saying. But nonetheless, I'm glad he isn't listening to the fans.

Isn't that the truth. JJ comes across as a fricking child when he says stuff like that. If the players are following him and they love playing with him, that's one thing. But if he's anything like those comments came across during the game, then he should be benched

You realize that if he had went all Tebow on us and gave us this ridiculous speech you would have rantards criticizing him saying "who does he think he is? Tebow? ROFL"
I mean, let's be real here. No matter what Jefferson said the OP and others would have went fishing.

They do follow him and they do love playing with him. There goes that idea.

Wow... the similarities between him an Aaron Brooks are startling. Next thing you know, JJ will proclaim hes a great QB on a poor team.

No way of knowing this. Lately the receivers have looked frustrated at the majority of Jefferson's throws. He's a bad quarterback, plain and simple. Blame Crowton, blame Miles, or blame Jefferson himself... whichever it is, it doesn't work and he doesn't get it done.

Interesting how you're making hypothetical assumptions about what would have happened and im asking about what did happen. He said what he said.

Classic Aaron Brooks

My thoughts exactly.............

I had a couple of inaccurate throws, and I just need to work on that.
Jesus Tap Dancing Christ. Some of y'all are absolutely pathetic.

Exactly! I have no problems with what JJ is saying. He has accepted some responsibility. Are we saying he needs to take ALL the responsibility or he's not a real leader? WTF! JJ is saying the right things. You want him to come out and say what he really thinks... that he does hear the idiots booing? Ya, that'd be the smart thing. <sarcasm>
JJ says basically what every athlete says when things don't go well. Basically ... paraphrased... "We need to work on things."
You want him to take 100% of the blame even though he is NOT 100% of the problem?
I think JJ is being very mature and diplomatic about the whole thing. And I think a lot of that is because he is indeed smart enough to know there are a bunch of rantarded idiots that lynch him (literally) at the drop of a hat.

Maybe the receivers should put a little of that frustration into actually trying to catch a fricking ball for a change.

That seems to imply that his only problem is a "couple of inaccurate throws." I'd substitute "f***ing pitiful" for "inaccurate." Or you could go with "a bunch of inaccurate throws." The quote sounded to me like he wasn't taking full responsibility, but rather acting like he's taking responsibility. He said a lot of the same crap after the Vandy game, too.

I'd be thrilled if JJ was anywhere close to Aaron Brooks as a qb, Aaron gets alot of flack for being a decent qb.

Jordan doesn't have to give two shits what any fan thinks or says. The only people he needs to worry about are the ones in that locker room, the ones he has to go to war with. He needs to stop bitching at his recievers on the field and trying to show them up because their not going to want to play for him (see D. Byrd)

AB was at least decent for a while and pretty good at times, but he thought he was great, his attitude sucked, and he had a very lackadaisical disposition.
JJ is showing parallels IMO.

I don't expect him to take "100% responsibility" for the offense, but he's not even taking 100% responsibility for his OWN play.
How about this?
[Fictitious quote]I'd like to apologize to my teammates and fans. I had a bad second half and we let them back in the game. I can promise you that I will work my butt off to improve each week. We all want to be champions at the end of the year, and I will do whatever I need to try to get us there.[/Fictitious quote]

IMHO for a good many of the rantards, a slap in the face is warranted.
