Anybody have an idea as to why the First Take show will be on ESPN News instead of ESPN2?

If you played a drinking game to a Jordan Jefferson interview and had to take a drink for every "you know" that he says, you'd be shitfaced by end of the interview.

You have any tapes from your interviews with national media when you were 18-21 years old, preferably after playing a football game against some of the best teams in the nation? It would be interesting to compare.

Man you guys are ridiculous... You don't even know the dude and you bash him... Talking about his play on the field is one thing but he's the starting QB for arguably the best team in America... Give it a rest for a change

I hope he says "I" have to practice harder. "I" have to play better, "I" have to be a better leader, and "I" didn't come through a lot of the time last year when my team needed me to do so.

I'll if I hear those things. I'm not counting on it though.

I bet Rudy just can't stand it.

JJ had a mental problem right? Bet you can't wait for the quotes to come out huh? Hoping he will slip up?

Let everyone underestimate us because of JJ. JJ is gonna lead us back to the promised land this winter.

And stay your punk arse off the bandwagon Rudy.

Yes the douchbaggery is strong in this thread. But I think tiger fans think that's a compliment. Like they get off on being assholes.

From this to last yrs SEC media day appearance, must be nice to reap benefits of a star player to be so far from it.

Actually, I have tapes not only from that time, but also when I was in the NFL and during my campaign for presidency as well.

Why the hell would you essentially want our QB to go on national TV and appoligize for the past? I undstand what you're doing about this past quotes, but think about what you're saying. What is accomplished by going on TV and looking like a pussy? That's what you want?

Are you honestly hoping our QB will fail in order to for you to prove some kind of point? What exactly is that point anyway? How does anyone who cares about LSU gain by Jefferson failing?

Owning up to mistakes does not make you a pussy. Constantly disregarding them as other peoples problems does.

So you have one day to make all kinds of media rounds as the QB of a top 5 team in mid June. What is it that you would want to get out of all these media appearances? I would want him to promote the upcoming season and talk about the team looking forward. You would want him to use this limited window of exposure to apologize and "own up" for not playing well at times last year?

I'm not using this as some life lesson bullshite. I'm not his father or his coach or his teammate. I'm sure he's well aware he had some bad games. Further, he doesn't owe you or I jack shite. Tell me why he needs to "own up" on national tv for his mistakes and why today would be the best venue? Tell me how that would be in the team's best interest?

JJ has a a rare opportunity to get in front on a national audience. My hope is he projects a positive outlook for the season and exudes confidence. I see very little gained by degrading and revisiting his performance last year.
