I hope he says "I" have to practice harder. "I" have to play better, "I" have to be a better leader, and "I" didn't come through a lot of the time last year when my team needed me to do so.

thank goodness this thread is on the first page and not the other one.
JJ will do fine. his interview on ESPN at the Spring game was a lot better than all of his interviews in the past.

why the frick is anyone even saying Jordan Jefferson and Heisman in the same sentence. WTF? Was it because of his impressive 7TD season last year

well I'll say this, I hope all this does something for JJ's confidence in himself and his play. LSU sent him on ESPN to represent the football team so lets hope he starts to feel more confident and knows that hes the team leader.

Yeah but they don't generally start suggesting you're up for a Heisman when you have prior years performances like JJ has had.

Also they give it to senior quarterbacks with 2 bowl wins under his belt, who is QB-ing a top 5 preseason team which happens to be in the SEC
eta: there is zero chance JJ wins the Heisman this year
