Just saying. Maybe he just sort of ground his face in the ground and didn't kick him hard. I don't know! I am not a big guy but I think if I kicked you in the head you wouldn't be refusing a ride to the hospital, unless I held back.
Not that it is relevant to the case but personally all I care about is who started it. You start shite with me and you bring it all on yourself.

The Jeffersons want to involve the NAACP and FBI? Seriously, Jeffersons? And to say "he's more qualified" than Lee? Stupidity must run in that family.
I also don't like it if players actually boycotted team meetings before the Oregon game and Les had to convince them to take the field as the news clip said. I wonder if the aunt just made that shite up?
I think the whole interview is an attempt to create drama and dissension within the team. There is obviously great disappointment in the Jefferson camp that the team is achieving success without JJ. I can't imagine that this public display aided their cause with Les or within the LSU AD.

my point was made already in that you claimed Wing's victim was asleep and he clearly wasn't
No your point was this:
quote:
Wing wasn't accused of kicking someone in the face while he's laying on the ground was he? No comparison whatsoever
And the quote from the article that you conveniently left out proves your point wrong.

Yes I was incorrect he was on the ground and then kicked much like Lowery. I'm sure the injuries weren't the same but the situations sound similar.

It's times like these I'm glad I live in Texas.

You really think that a 150 pound guy started a fight with our football team? JJ towers over him and has around 90 lbs on him.
Are you talking about the guy in the video that harassing that girl, who had a restraining order on him, right before punched another guy in the face? If so, YES.
quote:sometimes things aren't just in black n white. Its a tradition for the players to go out the last day of camp, the weekend before school starts. You don't know what was said to provoke JJ, if he indeed did kick Lowery.
I would also disagree with you opinion here. If JJ in fact "kicked this guys arse" while he was breaking curfew less then two weeks before the biggest home opener in recent memory, he is getting exactly what he deserves. Those are not the actions of a senior "leader" and starting QB.

I think that JJ did whoop his arse, but the a-hole started it and cried foul when he got his arse beat.
Interesting take. I'll factor your conjecture in with the witnesses who have in no uncertain terms given an account of the players being the aggressors.

What about the witnesses who say the opposite?

I don't even know what this has to do with the situation.

Maybe so. A big part of that tradition is to not embarrass the coaching staff and the team by getting into trouble while breaking their curfew.

If I was the coach, it would not matter what what said. I would expect my team leader to put his ego aside.
As a fan, I hope that our players (not just JJ) don't get the jollies by getting into fights with people that are incredibly overmatched (which includes almost anyone they could encounter at a bar). What possible payoff is there for the player. There is certainly nothing admirable about winning such a fight.

quote:They haven't been interviewed by BRPD yet. that's the problem. I think that the accuser only had one witness, and that there's 20 to 25 witnesses willing to testify that JJ was not the aggressor.(Two employees that work for the bar) BRPD was in a hurry to arrest him, but are now taking their time to interview other witnesses.
What about the witnesses who say the opposite?

quote:easier said than done. I'm not sure how i would've reacted @ that age. Boys will be boys. It was a fight. I personally saw Kevin Faulk, Robert Royal, Fred Booker and some more players beat the shite out of a few of Southern's football team in the late 90's. southern got their arse whipped licked their wounds and they were all parting together a few weeks later. This was over policed. the guy didnt even want to go to the hospital until his daddy made him.
