Oh, and for the record, if he's innocent he should be immediately reinstated to the team. If at that time, this team is rolling and Les decides to split time between JJ and JL, then frick Les.
Les and LSU is doing the correct thing here. No one person is bigger then the team and the university, regardless of what his family and lawyer think. JJ put himself in a bad situation and an even worse time. They are blaming everyone but the person that deserves the blame. It's called character and I'm not seeing much of it.

The most troubling thing about her statement is the team boycotting a team meeting in support of JJ. If true this is sad.
I noticed JL sitting on the bench last night by himself. Hope there isn't a division. They sure don't play like a divided team

gut feeling of course
nevermind that the professionals who get paid to make these decisions feel otherwise at the moment

The longer this drags out, the more I think there's probably something to it. A .90 caliber like Unglesby would have gotten it dropped by now if there weren't.
I guess whatever ruling the judge makes on this motion he filed today will tell the tale.

If he doesn't break curfew, he is golden. He can blame no one but himself.
The whole freaking team always breaks curfew on that day. Not a big deal. And I don't want JJ to start as qb and don't want the distraction and possible division it would cause if he were to come back. But I am sick of people talking about him putting himself in a bad position with his decisions.
If he was there and didn't fight he did nothing wrong. It is not illegal to go to a bar.
Everyone here has been to a bar. If you get shot in drive by at the bar is it your fault for putting yourself in that situation? Nothing wrong with going to a bar. Stop acting like this shite is ok if he is innocent because he shouldn't have been there.
That is equivalent to saying well it is a policeman's fault for being murdered because well he knew it could happen.

THe QB/team relationship is, and should be different. I have no problem with him sitting by himself and actually would rather it. Especially when the play on the field is what it is.

Y'all sceard JJ might come back. Fricking Rantards

all opinions are valid. rational logic, imo, points to there being some fire behind the smoke. i would bet every cent i own that the players came clean to les. i'd think that if jj were innocent, there would be more positivity on the subject coming out of the miles camp. the current silence/upheld suspension does not bode well for the defense, and this is why unglesby is attacking that point relentlessly. he gets brought in to get people off the hook, and a reinstatement for jj is his first order of business. it's simple posturing, and totally expected.

No, I scared CLM will give him snaps.

Couldn't agree more. Do you think there is any chance that he wasn't a key player in the fight?
And I am not asking what the prosecution can prove in court...

They can show support for one guy and not be divided.

I honestly don't know what he did. I thought it was a lock that he was guilty as charge the first day. But as more and more shite came to light now I know for sure that none of us here knows what happened.

You really think that a 150 pound guy started a fight with our football team? JJ towers over him and has around 90 lbs on him.
I would also disagree with you opinion here. If JJ in fact "kicked this guys arse" while he was breaking curfew less then two weeks before the biggest home opener in recent memory, he is getting exactly what he deserves. Those are not the actions of a senior "leader" and starting QB.

What has come to light that changes your perception? As time passed after something like this, peoples' stories change based on their personal agendas.

I saw this too, but then I saw the word "quarterbacks" on the bench right next to where he was sitting. Maybe the team has designanted areas on the bench so coaches can round them up based on positions easily. It's not big deal IMO.

This board needs to drop this discussion until the facts come out in the court hearings. No one knows "JACK" about this situation since they are not involved in it. This thing is much bigger than Jordan Jefferson regarding the other people in this mess. Jordan has not broken his silence yet. I hope Coach Miles and LSU Administrators stay top of this story because it could cause a bigger, national, embarrassment to the Tigers' Nation.
