He was actually a very good runner that moved the offense well with his feet and LSU's other RB weapons in the backfield. He had some success against Bama doing that. Only Les would think it could work twice against the same team. That said, in 2011 the LSU clicked way more with Lee in. It was WAY more efficient. The way Les treated that guy was bullshite. You could see him on the sidelines when he was benched in favor of Jefferson it looked like Lee snorted a line of coke.

Yeah and still though the defense was good enough to beat bama twice AFTER the 2008 change.

Jefferson threw for 2,166 yards with 17 TDs and 7 INTs in 2009. 2009 was by far his best season as a Sophomore and he showed a lot of promise of improving. Jefferson’s 2009 was on par with Jamarcus Russell’s 2005.
But he just got worse in 2010 and 2011.

His 2009 season was actually serviceable.
He was very good in 2009, especially considering we couldn’t run the ball for shite.

His 2010 season was just awful. A complete load of shite.
Yes it was.

His 2011 was pretty bad except for the Arkansas game.
No, it was pretty good except for UGA and BCSCG.

Man that stretch he had in 2010 was the worst I've personally seen

That’s great. Want to figure out what those averages are? I’ll help
Roughly..
150 yards passing
1 passing TD
30 yards rushing
0.3 rushing TDs
That’s awful when you factor in how many scrubs he played in there. You blame us for expecting better? At what point would his averages be unacceptable? 50 yards passing?

Florida 2010
Jarrett Lee had to come in to bail him out just like he did at Tennessee.

He was good could have been better but outside pressure and LM hindered his development. I don’t think his skill improved much while he was here

He had a good Sophmore year.

The frick you talking about?
He didn’t play until the Kentucky game.
He threw 0 passes against Kentucky, 4 against Florida, 3 against Tennessee, 3 against Auburn, 10 against Alabama, (he was now the starter) he went 8-14 against Western Kentucky in what was a boring abortion of a game, and threw 7 passes against Ole Miss.
Then he had a great game against Arkansas like I said.
Then finished it off with two abortions against Georgia and Alabama.

No.
Lee bailed him out against Tennessee for sure, even he but both Lee and JJ played great and contributed to that huge UF win.
Lee was amazing on the game winning drive though for sure.

These are his numbers for 2011.
61 100 61.0 737 7.4 7.7 6 2 138.7
Even with the two abortions his rating was still better than 09, which you said was serviceable
He was great against Alabama in TGOTC, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Auburn. Pretty good against UT, and WKU.
I said he was “pretty good” outside of those final two games.
Not sure why so testy

Professional football didn't think he was very good.
Undrafted by the NFL
Waived after 4 days with the Tampa Bay Bucs
Made the practice squad of a CFL team
Played one year Arena League
Played one year FXFL
Career over
What other evidence do you need? Jefferson had the luxury of playing on some very good teams at LSU, and he was only moderately effective on those teams. He didn't have the talent to be a pro QB at any level.

He didn’t throw enough passes outside of the Arkansas game to be truly measured in any of those. Which is why his only action as the true full quarterback from Western Kentucky to 1/9 is what you can use to grade him.

Let's bear in mind he played with future NFL receivers like Brandon LaFell, Reuben Randle, and Odell Beckham, Jr. And even with those guys to throw to, Jefferson was a sub-60% career passer at LSU.

You can’t include TGOTC in grading JJs ‘11 season?? Ole Miss was after that as well and he went 7/7 88 TD and rushed for 26 in a bludgeoning in Oxford when we were up 35-0 before halftime.
Hell, he ran 14 times for 73 yards and a badass TD against UT.
Considering how great he played against Arkansas, he was pretty good in 11. Not sure why that’s such an arguable statement.
